Good Riddance! When McCain and Feingold got together on campaign finance reform, I knew it was all over.

During Operation Dessert Shield/Storm I ran eight Family Assistance Centers in the Midwest to assist families of NG and other Reserve troops who had NEVER been mobilized before.

I had to go to the Capitol in, ‘The People’s Republik of Madistain’ to ask Feingold for a lousy $30K to keep my operations open through the end of that fiscal year, and he acted so SNOTTY to me...while I was in uniform, of course! He acted as if HE would be personally writing the check to assist Military Families.

When those two teamed up, I knew it was all over.

Yes, I disliked McCain before for all of his sins that never seemed to see the light of day, but McCain-Feingold was the end of it for me. All it DID was allow bundlers to throw together HUGE sums of cash for candidates.

And if you think there were no kick-backs from that legislation, you have NOT been paying attention.

Again, Good Riddance!

LOL! I spelled ‘Desert’ as ‘Dessert!’ Sorry. Oh, if it had only been that easy! ;)

Your a little harsh on Johnny.

When 4 democrats needed bipartisan support to corrupt the banking regulators for Charles Keating, Johnny stepped up to the plate. That took a maverick, with courage and guts. No other republican would do it.

It cost us about 3.4 billion dollars.

Some say its was a sleazy thing that he did, but Pious John the war hero knew that sometimes you need bipartisanship to get around the law.

And just think, it would have been so much easier for Johnny to run as a democrat, but he did it the hard way, pretending to be a republican. That took guts in a red state, where he had to lie to get elected. Such a gutsy Maverick. A hero to Chuck Todd, Barak Obama, and every Mexican crossing the border to sell drugs to our kids.

The crazies just didn’t understand how lucky we were to have such a sanctimonious blowhard stabbing us in the back.
