The amusing irony is that neither socialists, nor leftist extremists, nor most Democrats realize how much socialism is detested by the American populace. Socialism REQUIRES government control of YOUR money, your purchases, your salary, your business, and the denial of your freedom. Once people understand that, they won’t vote for it.
Thus, by supporting socialism, they are undermining the Democrat party.

The point here is this socialist began hitting DeSantis for his backing of Trump from day one. That, plus he got an upset win with a big constituency in the schools, you know, the little know nothings who think socialism is a great thing because they will not have to pay back those student loans. Gilliam makes it a bit tougher for Scott to unseat Nelson because he will draw 90% of the black vote; all of the single white women who love what he says about medicaid/medicare for all, AND probably most importantly the group for pro legal marijuana which he supports. IOW, make Florida a socialist sewer.
Gillum is going to get skunked.
He has proposed a new "Confederation of States" to fund his Medicare for all scheme.
Besides being tone-deaf on the wording, he apparently doesn't see the irony of his proposal for a new confederacy coming from a black in the South.
