Michael Avenatti announced Sunday that he plans to hold an event countering President Trump’s campaign rally for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in Texas next month.
Avenatti, the lawyer representing adult-film star Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against Trump, called on his supporters to “fight fire with fire.”
“I am excited to announce that I will be leading a large resistance rally in Texas at the exact same time of Trump’s (details tba),” he tweeted. “All groups are welcome to join. We must fight fire with fire and we must send a message that we will fight to make America America again.”

Trump said Friday that he will hold a “major rally” for Cruz ahead of midterms, and that he is “picking the biggest stadium in Texas we can find.”
Cruz is facing a surprisingly tough challenge for his Senate seat from Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas), a rising Democratic star who has pulled within single digits of Cruz in recent polls.
Though Cruz and Trump have had a tense relationship, the president has endorsed the senator and vowed to campaign for him.
Avenatti, who has quickly risen as a left-wing media darling in recent months, has said that he is considering a run for president, and has touted himself as a “street fighter” who has the ability to defeat Trump in a potential 2020 match-up.

Due to the threat of increased auto tariffs, I pulled ahead a new vehicle purchase by a couple of years.
It’s a Box on wheels (”Sports” car capable of hauling multiple sets of skis to the mountain for daily evaluation based on that day’s conditions), turbo engine (to compensate performance for altitude changes), manual transmission (an ever shrinking offering), all wheel drive ( a RARE offering back in the day).
I have no shortage of past year’s vehicles. None compare to this one in being able to get many of my personal job(s) done daily on a reliable basis.
Looking at Dolly, I have a sudden urge to go mountain climbing.

Seeing as how you work in Hollywood, you probably have a good chance of hooking up with one of those Victoria’s Secret ladies.
Every December, my sister used to ask me, “Why do they have this Victoria’s Secret underwear fashion show on TV this time of year?”

Seriously though, Avenatti has delusions of grandeur. He is in serious need of a mental evaluation if he thinks he will win the Iowa Caucus, much less get the nomination.
Will Stormy (Stefanie Cliffords) be his campaign manager? What is she going to do, offer free BJs to any guy who promises to vote for Avenatti? Madonna already tried that in 2016....no takers.
