The New York Post mocked Meghan McCain as “The Meg” on its Sunday cover after she used the opportunity of her father’s funeral to attack President Trump. “The Meg” is a reference to a plus-sized shark in the late-summer hit movie The Meg, starring Jason Staham.
The New York Post cover is just one part of a brewing backlash against McCain and the overall funeral service for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), which turned into an unseemly partisan rally Saturday with speakers like former Presidents Barack Obama and even George W. Bush trashing President Trump, who Sen. McCain refused to invite to his own funeral.
Also not invited was former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, John McCain’s unfailingly loyal 2008 vice presidential running mate.
What made Saturday’s shocking display all the more crass was that Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared were invited to the funeral and were forced to sit there and be humiliated, which might have been the plan. The McCain’s are infamous for holding petty grudges.
In an obvious shot at Trump, Meghan McCain used her eulogy to describe the death of her father as the passing of “American greatness. The real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who lived lives of comfort and privilege while he suffered and served.”
For good measure, she added, “The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great.”
Obama was also not subtle. He ripped into those who traffic in “bombast and insult and phony controversies and manufactured outrage.”

Regardless of Bridget’s birth defects, most of which were corrected, it is not good for her to be that morbidly obese.
Nasty MEGhan is very overweight/borderline obese. I’m sure her new husband is not happy about the fact that she’s probably gained 60 pounds since the wedding. “A pretty face” will only get you so far.

Watch and see how they both loose weight now that McCain’s not in the household. Do you really think his volatile temper was only in Washington?....
It is not uncommon people will ‘build a cushion’ around themselves to take the emotional hits they have to endure. Especially between a domineering father and daughters..

Anyone else suspect McCain was denied burial at Arlington, the resting place of his father and grandfather? Hard to believe that glory hog wouldn’t want an Arlington funeral.

Why bother. Trump pushes their buttons and gets them in such a snit, when the time comes for CW II, they’ll be expecting nothing but tweet storms until they start storming the White House and Capitol, and that’s when you take out the hardware.
Harry Truman in October 1948, while ‘giving ‘em hell’ implied that Dewey was a Nazi ‘because he’s so well-groomed and perfect’ and said “a vote for Dewey is a vote for fascism.” I kid you not. Dewey was too classy to respond to an attack so venal and stupid. And Truman was the last great Dem POTUS. Kennedy was a great orator, but that doesn’t count. As POTUS, he would have been voted down after one term, and it’s highly likely that he stole the election in 1960, only Nixon! was too classy to demand a recount. It’s gotten worse and worse since 1948.
Classy? Compared to all the sh!t Dems have thrown at conservatives since 1948, up to and including harassing Sara at a restaurant—and that crazy b!tch Maxine encouraging it—making fun of McCain’s dyke daughter’s looks is the very epitome of class.
Give ‘em hell, is it? The US is heading to CW II on roller skates. Then there’ll be plenty of hell to go around for everyone.
I observe this all in the relative safety of Israel, and if I hadn’t been trained as a boy not to cry, I would weep for America.
Meghan needs to be opposed and crated vigorously.
But hold off. Do not kick her when she is down by comparing her to a whale? Really? Do you not realize that is not only unclassy, but that unclassy tears the critic down as much as the target?

I agree, I didn’t watch, but I am sure that they behaved very well something the left is incapable of doing.
