Peter Baker, the chief White House Correspondent for the New York Times, wrote a September 1 article in his newspaper about the memorial service for the late Senator John McCain. However, there was another person who was uppermost in Baker's mind judging from his story. Need I really spell out who that person was?
You can see the name that caused Baker to become so deranged over his mere existence that his McCain memorial service ended up really being not so much about the senator but about the one who was the bookend of his story title, "In McCain Memorial Service, Two Presidents Offer Tribute, and a Contrast to Trump."

It is still hard to believe that it was Senator McCain's wish alone to keep Sarah Palin out of this memorial service. I smell family members such as the wife and daughter as culprits.

If McCain's family are responsible for these omissions and are ignoring the long term ramifications, they are even dumber than I thought possible.
They can celebrate McLame all they want.
I am celebrating his just being done. Every time I see a story on his funeral, I just smile knowing that GOP turncoat can’t work against the GOP any longer. He is now with a different gang of 8. RIP. God bless him. I am just thrilled he is gone.

IIRC Steve Schmidt's a leading Never Trumper. And Trump contributed the max to McCain and both he and Palin voted for him. Unlike speakers who never voted for him, never contributed to his campaign, called him a "racist-sexist-homophobic-warmongering-senile old fart" in 2008 and believe, "the only good R is a dead R". The upper layer of The Swamp.
Would make me VERY happy if Trump declassifies everything regarding McCain's role in the phony Russia dossier on Tuesday.

I would be even happier if all of the documents (CIA, NSA, DOD, etc.) concerning the investigation of Vietnam War POWs left behind were released. I need to have this issue and McCain's role in possibly suppressing the truth settled once and for all.

For whatever stupid reasons they have, my nail salon always has CNN on. Today I was there and subjected to the bathetic coverage of this event. Usually I ask them to change the channel, but they really squeezed me in today so I didn’t want to be a PITA.
You could have driven nails into my skull, that’s how bad it was. I thoroughly enjoyed every singe commercial, esp. the ones for drugs and shady loan brokers.
My manicure came out great, but other than that it was one of the worst hours of my life.
The MSM truly has gone INSANE. I told hubby tonight that, aside from Trump and a very few others, our nation is being led by people who have gone down the rabbit hole.
