DETROIT — The bishop who officiated Aretha Franklin’s funeral apologized Friday to Ariana Grande for how he touched her onstage and a joke he made about her name.
Bishop Charles H. Ellis III led Franklin’s funeral and awkwardly greeted Grande on stage after she performed “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.” Images of the moment showed Ellis’ hand holding Grande well above her waist, with his fingers pressing against one side of her chest.
The preacher apologized in an interview with The Associated Press at the cemetery where Franklin was interred late Friday.

You didn’t see the same pictures everyone else did. He also mocked her name. Remember this name mocking didn’t happen in a playful private conversation but in front of thousands of people in what was supposed to be a dignified ceremony. Democrats are the racists on the public stage and always have been. They don’t like it when we play by their rules and declare their conduct racist and this was clearly racist.

Everyone missed what was also bothering her. She had to get up on that elevated platform with that short dress after her performance. Clinton and two others behind her saw way up that short skirt of hers. She wanted to get off the stage as fast as she could.
A panel on CNN were all laughing that Clinton et al “got an eyeful”.
WHY would she wear that horrible outfit to an even such as that!!!!!!!
I saw a film clip and it didn't look bad to me. Shrug.
because she is a young entertainer and maybe nobody told her that she needed more clothes for a funeral.
Lots of young people get no guidance for stuff us “older folks” ahem, know as common sense.
The dems may have forgotten that it was her concert that was bombed by a suicide bomber in Manchester.
If it was a shooting, they may have more R E S P E C T for her.

Well, I’m not uncomfortable about strangers touching me - never have been. I think because of being in theater where everyone is kissy-face. But don’t go to a funeral dressed like that, would be my first advice. Of course, a funeral that looks like it is Saturday Nite at the Apollo is weird to me, anyway!

How about when the bishop said her name “sounded like something on the taco bell menu.” If he were white he’d be done, but you go ahead and defend him, same as any lefty or CNN hack.
That was painful to watch. She is clearly trying to put some distance from him, and there is no mistaking he’s copping a blatant side boob feel.
Video is conclusive. Copping a feel,.... during a funeral no less.
