And I say this with the deepest of sincerity and I dont want calls on this, by the way: Am I the only person in America who thinks the passing of McCain and the news coverage has gone on a little too long and its a little too much?
Really, you can honor somebody, but this is going on day after day after day after day after day. And I dont say this out of any animus whatsoever, period. Why do some public officials get this kind of treatment Kennedy, McCain, so forth and others get no treatment whatsoever. Youve probably never even heard of them, probably werent on TV as much as say McCain or Lindsey Graham and so forth.
Okay, fine. I understand that that is, the criticism. But you dont see the same kind of criticism applied to John McCain or the people who planned his goodbye in slighting Sarah Palin, which really is a mean thing to do. She never said a nasty word about John McCain, even when conservatives were raising questions about what he did and so forth. She never did. When I had her on a couple months ago, on Life, Liberty & Levin, wouldnt say a negative thing about him.
Never did. She was his vice presidential running mate. He picked her. That seems to be a little bit more relevant to me than the flag flying at half-mast through Sunday, and yet youll see almost no criticism of this by the same so-called news outlets, the same so-called voices , you know, the same crowd who cant wait to attack Trump.

The whole thing is unseemly. He’s a senator, not a king.
A LITTLE OVER THE TOP ?
The weaponizing of funerals is not a new thing. The Paul Wellstone funeral was the most famous example, but the McCains may be setting a new low.
How many funerals is he going to have? There was some service in Arizona, yesterday at the Capitol, today at the National Cathedral and there will probably be another event at the grave in Annapolis.
McCain will be forever known by the people he hand picked to his various ceremonies. Biden, Clinton, Obama, Kerry, Bloomberg, Bush. This highlights that he was never who he said he was, he was a stone cold liberal democrat. Good riddance, he cant be buried soon enough.
Its the third day and McCain hasnt risen from the dead. From all the coverage I was almost expecting that to happen.
Just a 10 day opportunity for the hate-driven Democrats and their media to stick it to President Trump. They couldn’t pass that up. The only thing they didn’t get to do is bury him in a pussy hat.
Look at the bright side: people who don’t know any better will see this as a ringing endorsement of Republicans.
No amount of adulation and proclaiming him a war hero will change his history after the fact, his judgment with God will be just.
God knows all and does not consult CNN.
They are showing us the only kind of "conservative" they are willing to accept.
McCain betrayed conservatism and his party and President Trump at every opportunity.
That's why he is being eulogized as a god.
GOP politicians are having to go along with the show because to do otherwise would be in poor form...and we know how the GOP hates poor form.
John McCain was no saint. The leftist Media is canonizing him as part of its hate Trump narrative. It will give some a focus to oppose Trump. The Communists did the same thing. They created ‘heroes” not to honor an individual but to rally the populace to hate the opposition. This is Orwell’s “15 minutes of hate” dragged over four days.
“McCain’s death” coverage was no different than “putting ketchup on a $60 steak”.
“Trump Outrage” in the media is over the top. This week they chose McCain as the topic to attempt to express their outrage.
As much as they disliked McCain in the past (or pretended to when it served their purposes) he served a useful function for them now - just like Trump putting ketchup on steak.
I wonder if the media will give this much coverage to Bob Dole. He was a war hero, Senate Majority leader and has accomplished much more than McCain. But Oh, he didn’t bash Trump, so probably not!
The libtards seemed to think they would get a Reagan tier turnout. Anybody actually watch? Did they or did they just not show the camera angles that demonstrated a miserable turnout?
Wellstone, Part Deux.
