Wednesday on Chicagos 107.5 WGCI, Rapper Kanye West declared President Donald Trump cared about the way black people feel about him.
West said, I got a direct line to the president.
He continued, The thing is, I support everyone. I am in support. I support everyone. I support Bernie Sanders. I support Hillary. I support Obama. I cried when he won and at the inauguration.
When asked if Trump cares about black people, West added, I feel that he cares about the way black people feel about him, and he would like for black people to like him like they did when he was cool in the rap songs and all this. He will do the things that are necessary to make that happen because hes got an ego like all the rest of us, and he wants to be the greatest president, and he knows that he cant be the greatest president without the acceptance of the black community.

If only most blacks could be as open-minded as Kanye.
I for one don’t. Let’s not get carried away.
You bet this President has an ego - and an enormous one at that!
Frankly, that is exactly why he will do right by America - he’s not about to lose this battle; he’s not about to let us down. No way...
More and more blacks are wiping the sleep out of their eyes and seeing Donald J. Trump for the man he is and actually the man he always was.
Black people should have equal rights, no special rights and kowtowing to their every faux complaint.
Yes, that’s a good way of putting it.
Trump, like most conservatives, wants black Americans to thrive. Thus it’s natural he would care about how they think of him.
That’s what you meant by your comment, right?
Not exactly. I’m sure that conservatives and Trump want all Americans to thrive. Too many blacks do not believe that. Convincing them that Trump really wants blacks to thrive might be a bridge too far, but convincing them that Trump’s ego is motivating him to want to be liked by blacks might be more believable. Doesn’t matter to me as long as they don’t vote Democrat!
And his heart is in the right place, too, as he's works his tail off for we, the American people.
And at the end of the rainbow he only hopes he's done a good job and is appreciated by We Deplorables.
Go back to his best speech, the one he gave at the official opening of Trump International Washington DC. Here's an excerpt:
I want to go into the inner cities, the poor, rural communities and the failing schools and I want to work on a national plan of revitalization.
I'm tired of the excuses of our politicians. I'm tired of the being told what cannot be done. I'm tired of people asking Americans to defer their dreams to another day, but what they really mean is to another decade.
Enough waiting. The time is now. We can achieve our goals for this country and we can do so more quickly than anyone ever thought possible. There is nothing we cannot accomplish.
The United States is great. Its people are great. There is no task or project too great. There is no dream outside of our reach. Don't ever let anyone tell you it can't be done. The future lies with the dreamers, not the cynics and the critics.
Everywhere I go in this country, all I see is untapped potential waiting to be set free. And the biggest element of all is our incredible people -- the people of this country. They are just waiting. They are waiting and waiting. And I think maybe now, their time has come.
Kanye is a surprise as a Trump supporter.
Wow, that IS a powerful speech. And we all know he meant it from the bottom of his heart.
Thanks.
Great Reminder!
Love Our President that works for All Of US!
America First is his Motto and kept his Word!
Broward County, Florida- just one example.
200,000 blacks registered as Democrat
7,000 blacks registered as Republican
I’m guessing that the vast majority of the black Republicans are from Haiti. The poverty stricken Haitians were very badly ripped off by the Clinton charity scheme.
They despise the Democrat party and are naturally driven to vote Republican.
