A member of my family is head of pop tops and has numerous patents for the recipes and designs on top. You should taste some of the ones they don’t chose to market!
Most of the ones that are marketed, I do not like at all. I do like the brown sugar-cinnamon ones, especially the non-frosted variety. One package will not do. Usually, a box is what is called for.
Having said that, if depending on my purchases, Pop Tarts just wouldn’t be sold. Earlier I knew it was too much sugar, and now I avoid everything in them except the cinnamon. Ah well!
