What it tells us that John McCain drank vodka with Hillary Clinton
CNN ^ | 9/26/2018 | Timothy Stanley

John McCain once took on Hillary Clinton in a drinking contest. It was at a restaurant in Estonia in 2004, during a congressional tour. Both politicians managed four shots of vodka; the rules were unclear, but Hillary -- McCain's one-time political rival -- was declared the winner, according to the restaurant proprietor (though in her own account, Clinton said they "agreed to withdraw in honorable fashion," rather than name a winner).

That image sums up the humanity and character of the late Senator McCain, who will be mourned deeply on both sides of the political aisle. He embodied a more moderate brand of conservatism -- one that could separate politics and friendship -- that now feels distant and very much missed.

Hard to believe that CNN could with a straight face say something like, “McCain was a brand of moderate conservative that now seems distant and will be sorely missed”. That’s like if the Harlem Globetrotters went up against an actual team, and then started waxing on about how much they missed the Washington Generals.

Hillary only drank 4 shots? That’s not even a warmup for her.

McCain was hand in hand with Hillary in the near destruction of the Middle East. They supported the fiascos in Libya, Egypt and Syria. They supported without understanding the dangers inherent in the Muslim Brotherhood. They supported the diminution and the femeninization of the American military that Trump is being forced to rebuild. McCain never favored a halt to the stream of illegals entering Arizona. He supported a carbon tax. He supported NAFTA at its inception. Most importantly, when push came to shove he supported Obamacare.
So who supports him in Arizona? The Military (many of whom are morons who would support any fascist in uniform if asked). The American Legion. The Mormon mafia. The lettuce growers. The Phoenix phug=up big-money types, and crossover Democrats who would give him the vote to see that he remained in Congress.

Suuurre, McCain's the "Maverick" according to Rats and Media -as the "R" who crossed the aisle to the D's - they'd neverrr call Senator JOE Lieberman a "Maverick" for going the other way.

it embarrasses me that it took McCain’s treatment of Palin to realize how compromised McCain was. believe it or not while Obama was a disaster for the country a McCain presidency would of done long term Damage to the republican party along with damaging the country

What it tells us that John McCain drank vodka with Hillary Clinton

You drink with your friends and stay stone cold sober with your enemies.

Crash saw Hillary! as his friend and we were his enemy.

Remember the Forrestal.

Come now, Trump and Hillary have had drinks too.

Nope.

Trump does not drink.

He understands that getting drunk is a weakness and getting drunk with an enemy is foolish.

Remember the Forrestal.

Drank vodka and sang a rousing rendition of Dosvidanya, Rodina.

There is not enough vodka in the world for me to fit out booze googles for Hillary...
