Sen. John McCain’s wife is thanking people across the globe for their expressions of “love and support” in the wake of the McCain family’s announcement that the Arizona Republican has discontinued medical treatment for an aggressive form of brain cancer.
Cindy McCain says in a tweet that the family “is overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from around the world.”
John McCain’s family announced the news on Friday about his medical treatment.

People close to Sen. John McCain have told the White House that the ailing Arizona Republican does not want President Donald Trump to attend his funeral and would like Vice President Mike Pence to come instead, a source close to McCain confirmed to NBC News.

Unless Trump has been formally disinvited, I just imagine that he will attend, but not speak. The RATs would make it a big deal if Trump didn’t attend. It would be bad optics.
Don't get your hopes up. They're sure to plant him somewhere like Arlington or the Annapolis private cemetery - somewhere that'll make "spontaneous outpourings" very difficult.
He’ll pass before the mid terms and Cindy McCain will say that it was John’s last wish that the American voters do everything in their power to stop President Trump’s tyranny.
He will not be missed.

At this point in time the Governor will appoint a replacement
to serve until the 2020 election. At that election a person
will be selected to serve the remaining two years of the term.
The timeline for a replacement to be selected via election this
year has passed back in June.
I agree I’m not a John McCain fan but losing a loved one is very difficult for those left behind.

Several big dollar 100% liberal democrat donors from Hollywood and Seattle were donating the maximum to McCain when he competed in the Republican primary election.
They NEEDED to run BHO against McCain so that the eligibility issue was skewed and John promised to be a ‘good loser.’
How anyone sound of mind and body could love, honor and respect John McCain escapes me 100%.
I supported, campaigned and voted for John McCain in 2008, as I did for Mitt Romney in 2012. I turned against McCain in 2008 when he told us all what a good man Barack Hussein Obama was. I knew Obama was and still is, an America hater from head to toe. Barack loves only one thing, Barack Hussein Obama. He could care less about America, African-Americans, Hispanics, etc. He is the lowest form of humanity from top to bottom. He and McCain are soul brothers, birds of a feather!!!
John McCain & Mitt Romney are both weak men who are jealous, filled with hate and envy and no good for mankind or their country. They, like Obama have no loyalty whatsoever, other then to themselves.

This is the guy who called Arizona Trump supporters “crazies” and said anyone who didn’t like his deciding vote to keep Obamacare alive could “go to hell”. Like you said, everybody dies sooner or later. This mean little SOB can’t die too soon for me.
