And the Media wonders why they are viewed as propagandists and not journalists. For the past ten years they adored Obama and never investigated or reported on him critically, Hillary was treated the same way and its been hate Trump all the time. What rational person would view them as non biased, honest journalists?

Here is what Rudy meant and it is the damn truth. 5 people are at an “incident” and saw what happened.

A year later Mueller and the FBI interview these people to find out what happened. They get 5 different views of what happened.

Mueller then picks the story he likes and accuses the others of lying to the FBI. The other 4 get 6 months in jail for lying to the FBI.

Mueller is the sole arbiter of who is lying. There in lies the problem.

Mueller has already decided Trump is guilty. It doesn’t matter what is said or not said. The investigation and interviews are a sham process.

This is a sham investigation and there will be a sham report and depending on how many democrats and anti Trumpers are in government there will be a sham call to impeachment.

I believe the report will come after the election because if they had something bad on Trump, it would be seen before the election. After the election, if they have enough anti Trumpers/democrats, any charge against Trump would be sufficient to impeach him. It would be a joke.

Sessions and Rosenstein have to know this but, nothing is going to happen. They are not going to do anything. They should be fired once Trump wins the election because they could have stopped this at any point.

For liberal news media to understand he would have to say “what you consider to be truth is in fact; a lie.”

Rudy Guiliani is spot on! The left has rejected the existence of objective truth and universal truth for years. (Anyone interested in the philisophical aspects of this can look up the term “postmodernism”. D.A. Carson’s “Gagging of God” provides a good description of how this viewpoint has permeated academia and our culture.)

Either objective or universal truth would imply a “truth giver”; i.e., God, which post modernists reject. Postmodernism is the philisophical foundation for multiculturalism. For if there is no universal truth, then we are in no position to judge other cultures. This follows since all truth, is relative to the individual, or at most to a particular culture.

Since truth is either “your” version of truth or “my” version of truth, then positing that Mueller can decide what truth is, is totally appropriate. This is exactly what got Scooter Libby in hot water. Libby recalled an event one way and a reporter recalled it quite differently. The prosecutor contended that the reporter’s recollection constituted “truth” and trundled Libby off to jail.

In this case, you have the MSM mocking Guiliani by appealing to the Modern view of truth. The Moderns, and most of society, believes in the existence of truth as an objective reality. Most people today toggle between the two viewpoints based on the argument at hand. It’s really rich for the leftist MSM to mock Guiliani along these lines.

Yes, “the truth” can be someone’s stated perception of what is/was “the facts” That does not necessarily make it “the only truth” when someone else has a similarly “truthful” but different recollection of the same circumstance. Yet, prosecutors can use their own bias and a desire to “obtain a conviction” to charge one individual for perjury solely on the basis that their testimony differs from someone else, someone else the prosecutor is choosing to believe. That is how Fitzgerald went after Scooter Libby in the Plame blame case.
