At one of Caracas biggest public hospitals, most bathrooms are closed. Patients fill jugs from a tiny tap on the ground floor that sometimes has a trickle of water. Operations are postponed or canceled.
The Central Venezuelan University hospital, once a Latin American leader, is reeling as taps run dry.

Great, 1st there is no toilet paper, now they haven’t got enough water to flush, before you know it the sh!# house will be too full, and the country will be neck high in S#!t.
Sad.
Let’s not forget the Venezuelans proudly and defiantly voted socialist. They are strongly anti American.
Now they ask for sympathy. Too late.
As anti-American OPEC members they raised our gas prices for many years now (Valero is their Venezuelan gasoline. )
Exactly like Chicago voting 99.5% Dem every time and then asking for hardworking white people’s pay as taxes to save them from their murder capital.
It always amazes me how much crap and downright suffering people will put up with before they start manning the pitchforks.
I wouls argue that most of Venezuela has had running waret in homes for only 50 years or so.
but all will be fixed by Monday - that is when their new redominated currency goes into effect - the Bolivar Soberano.
Their current currency is the Bolivar Fuertes and is trading at 0.000004 - one of our dollars is equal to 248,508.94 of the BOL-VEF. That idiot president of theirs is removing 5 zeros from their currency that nobody wants.
Thanks C19fan.
Valero is not Venezuela’s gas company. Citgo is what you are thinking about.
Socialism is heaven.
No one has any money.
You are expected to praise the administration endlessly.
It doesn’t lead to anything better.
The sweet smell of socialist progress. Really kicks capitalisms ass.
Citgo is from the socialist country Venezuela as you said. Thanks. I like having new enemies to “dislike.”
Now,
Bloomberg Feb.5, 2018 “Potential Ban on Venezuelan Oil May Hit Valero Hardest.”
If the US bans imports of oil from Venezuela it may hit Valero and Chevron the hardest.
////////
Article goes on to say Valero,Chevron and Citgo are the 3 biggest from Venezuela. That may imply the oil coming out is not a Venezuela *owned* company’s oil but Valero is one of the bad guys anyway.
Be prepared for a visit from social services.
“And still they are forced to suffer because they have no Second Amendment to guard their country against tyrants such as Madura. Sad.”
It ain’t a 2nd that stops them from revolting. They’re too simply lazy. It’s how they got to the point they are at; laziness.
Or they could have gone outside, stripped down and used a bucket to wash with cold water. Or in the nearest stream.
LOL!
Cruel and unusual punishment? 1 minute power shower for a teenage girl? Probably.
Joys of Socialism.
Gotta love that Socialism, eh Alexandra and Bernie?
Youve scarred them for life. They will never be able to forget this incident. /semi sarc
Dont worry, once they are taken from you the state will explain what an awful man you are to them and probably all women.
Spent the entire summer up at our rustic cabin in Northern Minnesota every year growing up. Outhouse and a hand pump that produced as much water as you could pump.
Jump in the lake for a bath (Ivory soap - it floats!) Grandma would too, although I recall her sitting in a big tub down by the lake too - maybe that was when she was real old. Or mom got hot water off the stove.
Hmm - I don’t ever recall my grandfather in the lake OR the tub!? Although he died much earlier than my grandmother. They would be up there all summer too.
“The information Minister says there is a special plan to fix the situation, but wont tell anyone what it is... .”
Wow, Baghdad Bob has a new gig?
