President Trump on Wednesday revoked the security clearance of former CIA director John Brennan, citing his “erratic conduct and behavior.”
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, reading a statement from the president, said Mr. Brennan “leveraged his status as a former high-ranking official” to make false charges against the administration.
Mr. Trump’s statement began, “As the head of the executive branch and commander-in-chief, I have a unique constitutional responsibility to protect the nation’s classified information, including by controlling access to it. Today in fulfilling that responsibility, I’ve decided to revoke the security clearance of John Brennan, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency.”
The president said Mr. Brennan’s actions have “exceeded the limits of any professional courtesy.”
Mr. Brennan has been a harsh critic of Mr. Trump, and a network commentator, accusing him of treasonous actions in his dealings with Russia.
Mr. Trump said he’s still weighing revoking the security clearances of former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice, fired FBI agent Peter Strzok and others — all Democrats.

Strzok, Brennan, ... The clean out is starting. Both the Deep State and the Trumpians have some big surprises in store for next month, I think. The Tech princes are cleaning out the internet and sweeping away all the dissenting voices even now. It will only accelerate, I expect FR to start getting some serious attacks on its servers if it hasn’t happened already. This is war, even now. Google and FB and Chinese Apple are starting to fire serious weapons in a huge cyber attack on the country. Cyber War is a big part of the New Great War and will recede any military actions, maybe preclude them. There are two main actors who are allies on the other side, the Globalists and China and a third perceived useful but minor actor, the jihad. Jihad is minor for the Left until it isn’t.
I’ll bet Joe Paterno (wherever he is) regrets not asking that Jerry Sandusky’s Penn State Campus access rights were revoked the day he left the coaching staff.
I knew a guy who got fired for a pretty serious offense. He got on with a new employer and worked a job that required clearance for over a year before the paperwork caught up with him and his clearance was yanked and he was booted from hat position.
Because our fedgov is, and has been for a very long time, corrupt to its very core! That is how he and many others got one. I'd be willing to bet there was never a background run on these types. A wink and a nod!
The kindest evaluation of John Brennan’s term of appointment, was that he was always a loose cannon, once voting for Gus Hall for President (1976). Even the ACLU was a little uncertain of his antecedents, pointing back to his days with the Bush-43 Administration, where he freely used rendition and “enhanced” interrogation techniques, and later on, when as chief of CIA, he hacked into the servers of the Senate Intelligence Committee. In turn, CIA servers got hacked under his watch.

From what I have seen of those three they should not have passed the psych evaluation to get cleared in the first place.
If erratic behavior is the standard for setting the bar, there will be far fewer Dems anywhere but the prison exercise yards every afternoon. Maxine,Hillary,Omarosa,Tom Perez.... (stop me when I get to the first 1,000).
TS/SCI Clearances can be renewed up to two years following having it removed. On the day someone leaves government, clearance should be removed and if they need it again, their boss can request it through the FSO.

The policy is this: the security clearance for an individual who leaves the federal government is valid for a period of two years. This policy was enacted so that people who left one place of employment could have a clearance in place if they went to work at another place. In the past, such employees might have to wait for months while a new clearance investigation was performed.
Having a security clearance does not mean you can access classified information. You do not just walk in and say that you have a clearance, show me some classified. You must also demonstrate a “Need to Know” in order to access classified. IOW, two requirements and you must have both. A Clearance at the appropriate level and a demonstrated “Need to Know”.
The security clearance without “Need to know” is meaningless anyway. None of those individual had the prerequisite “Need to Know” for continued access to classified material. Some one showing them classified information without a “Need to Know” would be guilty of a felony.
Brennan is a traitor. He needs to be treated as such.
