Can I ask a stupid question?
Whats with them giving up the legal fight? Didn’t it end with the Supreme Court ruling?
Or is this a case in which if the liberals lose at the Supreme Court, the case didn’t really go against them? Whats up with them having to decide to give up?
as long as trump relinquishes his power to courts, states like Hawaii and California can find a way to keep the game going. California has Holder on retainer just working on the next law suit.
Truly amazing just how corrupt the bench has become.
Good point. Once the supremes have a say the issue should be closed.
SCOTUS gets a Ton of Appeals. IMHO: Most are rejected through the fact that not enough members consistently take up the appeals and give up (0 of 9, 1 of 9, 2 of 9). Sometimes the court gets pissed off by the repeated same claim already ruled on and says the appeal is dismissed "With Prejudice".
I don't know the details of this case. Can someone with more details help here?
Good point. This would be sedition and civil war
“Whats with them giving up the legal fight? Didnt it end with the Supreme Court ruling?”
That’s where you get to the specifics of the ruling. If it’s an Absolute Ruling, like Roe or Gay Marriage, then it’s over.
But if it’s a ruling that implies something like “try again, but from a different angle”, then they can keep at it.
That’s why it’s critical to get LARGE HARD-RIGHT majorities on the courts, otherwise the rulings will be weak.
