I wonder if he DOES know better.
Ignorance or evil? It's hard to say when their heads are obviously so full of junk. I'm not sure which is worse.
I have to go with evil. Not even an econ major could come away with his conclusions, let alone someone with a Ph.D.
I’ve been a Friedmanite from day one and had many “spirited” debates with colleagues over gov’t intervention in the marketplace. A liberal, even an educated one, argues from emotion, not fact. I was in a debate with one colleague and boxed them into a corner where they had no choice but to admit they were wrong. The result: “That may be so, but I don’t believe it!” whereupon they stomped out of my office.
It’s like debating a post. I ate lunch alone...a lot.
