It's up to four others now...
I agree, I think it was manslaughter. However the shooter should have a trial to determine if he committed manslaughter. The sheriff was wrong in not initially charging the shooter. The shooter was pushed down but he didn’t charge the shooter after pushing him.
The prosecution is going to hit him with his other confrontations.
Actually, law enforcement should have yanked this guy's carry permit long ago. They had every reason to, and did the Broward Coward thingee instead.
“Drejka should be exonerated...”
Drejka should be execute
I said from the start, we don't have all the facts so give him a fair trial then we'll see.
Self-appointed cop
I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that this is far from the first time the guy laid hands on someone.
Thanks. This freeper lives in FL
I agree. Carrying doesn’t give you the right to go around deliberately provoking people.
You could be right, you could be wrong, but either way, being a pain in the rear is not a crime. By contrast, if some huge dude 40 years younger is tempted to heave a scrawny old guy onto the pavement over in a verbal disagreement--and then stick around for more--well, that was a crime that put the old guy in reasonable fear for his life.
I'll pray for Jumbo's soul, but he took the Darwin test and failed.
If some sneaks into a parking spot I was waiting for, I go find another spot. Lots of nuts out there.
“Yep, shooter was assaulted, knocked to the ground, unable to retreat and victim continues to advance. A 2 minute deliberation to a verdict of not guilty.
Might deliberate longer if they server lunch.”
Another teachable moment paid by FL tax payers for people to comprehend the meaning of words in FL self defense statute.
“Now, jury, what does “reasonably believe” mean? The meaning of reasonable is.... “What does believe mean? “The meaning of “believe is.....”
All because Jerry Springer JD law graduates need to re-read FL self defense statute. Word by word. Meaning by meaning. One word, the next word, the next word.... Think. Talk. Think more....
Another multi-million dollar fiasco for people who lack reading comprehension, in defense of battery.
11:1 odds he walks.
If Scott wasn’t running for the senate the State probably wouldn’t have filed charges.
Another political prosecution to end after raising peoples’ reading comprehension and realization that no one has a right to batter others.
Drejka is going down. The prosecutor was quietly collecting his nasty little history of "confrontations" - and there will be more people coming forward...

I like Florida. There are some good conservatives in Florida.
Probably a reasonable possibility that this idiot parking monitor gets convicted of manslaughter. Of course all the people involved in this ridiculous situation were not too smart.
Yep, people can be really stupid...And all this road rage stuff when those involved have no idea with what or whom they’re dealing as the occupants of the other vehicle are a complete unknown.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out he, the girlfriend or in the car was a gun. And, mcglockton’s a felon. Wonder if they’ll let that info in.
That is how I see it as well. This is not a Zimmerman situation, where Zimmerman was on his back and being beaten to death when he fired.
A reasonable jury could decide either way, but that is what juries are for.
