"Strongman politics are ascendant," Barack Obama warned in South Africa. He spoke passionately about "the politics of fear and resentment" at the Mandela Lecture. He worried that we were entering a world, where might makes right and politics is a hostile competition between tribes and races and religions.
While the media used the remarks to attack Trump's meeting with Putin, Obama had shared a stage with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa who had come to power promising to seize land from white farmers. Ramaphosa was the latest in a series of ANC strongmen, including his predecessor, an alleged rapist, beginning with the Communist terrorist whose legacy Obama was commemorating.
President Ramaphosa had vowed early on to seize land from white farmers without compensation. "The expropriation of land without compensation is envisaged as one of the measures that we will use to accelerate redistribution of land to black South Africans, he had declared. And denied that such racist Communist tactics were unconstitutional. Now hes moving to modify South Africas constitution...

Who says all the news is bad?
Nelson Mandela kissed the arses of Yassir Arafat, Fidel Castro, and Momar Gaddafi. How’s that working out for the people of South Africa?
Tribalism, collectivism, socialism, totalitarianism always devolve into death and despair. Witness history.
How do you day “holodomor’ in Zulu?
Everyone knows how well that worked in Zimbabwe.
Everything will work just as well in South Africa.
Having fun eating weeds and dogs you socialist idiots.
Mandela (and much if not most of the ANC) were of the Xhosa tribe.
I’d understood (back in the 80s/early 90s, at least) that the Zulus were more open to working with the whites...can anybody confirm or deny?
Can’t wait for the next Live Aid concert! Feed the world!
I was about the say the same but adding “Oh g0d no! “
I don’t see how a farm could have any value now for a white owner. Before I left I’d destroy the house, the barn, the well, the windmill, the irrigation system, the electrical poles, any underground wiring, the roads, the fences, etc. and leave it the just the way my family found it a few generations ago.
We fed them alright. They grew big and strong and migrated into Europe by the millions.
Or you could just turn it over “as is” and the good folks that “inherit” it will do the same to it in short order.
Up until Winnie and "SAINT NELSON", the Zulus always sided with the Boers. Then Winnie started the necklacings and torture, and just plain old outright murder, to get the Zulus to "turn" and vote for/with the stinking Commie ANC!There was what one might call a "CIVIL WAR" amongst the Zulu tribe and some of them did join the ANC ( the previous "president, who was INSANE and more corrupt than any DEM here ) was a Zulu.
Yes, the stinking white Commies who helped to found and indoctrinate the Xhosas ( who yes, used to be the ONLY black tribe in the ANC ) were after the Xhosa. And then, once the blacks felt that they had the numbers...as with ALL stinking Commie organizations/parties, the blacks systematical went about the whites who had trained them and began by running the ANC.
Where’s Bruce Springsteen and all the Hollywood actors that boycotted South Africa during Arpatheid?
I'd make sure the land couldn't be farmed for years.
Time for some scorched earth tactics.
Bkmrk.
If we are going to take refugees, lets take the Boers.
Zuma was so corrupt that my husbands cousins were very excited to get a new President. Sadly, he seems to be at best as bad, if not lightyears worse, than Zuma. Hope all the innocents are able to get out of SA before its not just the farmers at risk.
Salting the fields?
Leave it to Obama to pour gasoline and racism on the fire.
