U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has asked President Donald Trump to come to Texas to campaign for him.
During a campaign stop in Seguin late Monday, Cruz said he has reached out to his former rival for the White House to help him with his re-election effort against Democrat Beto ORourke.
I would certainly welcome his support and I hope to see him in Texas, Cruz said, standing outside the Dixie Grill in Seguin. I think we are likely to see the president down in Texas before the election.
Cruz said while his relationship with Trump has had its ups and downs due to their 2016 GOP primary battle, he has tried to become an ally to the President. He said he has been in constant contact with the White House and Trump directly to offer his help in getting legislation through the Senate.

lol, okay. I respect you. I am only 10 years younger. Never served, but did the best I can for my family, friends and country... minus, actually serving in the military. I respect your opinion, but I definitely see Ted Cruz as a someone who honors and loves our nation. He will bend his pride for what is good for the country, and he has supported Trump without complaint after the election.
It is time to focus on beating the Democrat/socialist. Right?
How would it be any harder than Gorsuch or Kavanaugh?
Awesome..Im glad that they have been able to put the primaries aside and work for the common goal, to keep Republicans in POWER
Republicans/Trump hold Ohio!!!!

“...It is time to focus on beating the Democrat/socialist. Right?...”
Absolutely right...
If you would read back a couple of my posts, I think I said I would vote for Cruz (I like him) I just didn’t care for the way he treated President Trump after the nomination...
As far as the nomination went, he would’ve been my second choise behind Donald Trump...
Darn well said.
Thank you...
PDJT may not act like that, but could you imagine the meltdown on the left if he did? Popcorn would be in short supply for the duration :-D
We are on the same side. I didn’t like the way Trump with after the phoney Trump Dad Kennedy assassination thing and the stupid Lyin Ted nonsense, but I was NEVER going to vote for Hillary, and neither would Senator Ted Cruz.
It is what it is. Trump is a special leader. I don’t fully understand why, but he is what we needed.
We are definitely on the same side...Good night, FRiend...
Well maybe not. We don't want to lose that seat.

Trump won't do anything to harm him in his race against O’Rouke. Cruz will
win the race with or without Trump coming to his cause.
Texas hasn't elected a democrat statewide office holder since 1994 and I believe that was a state judge.
O’Rouke is in El Paso which is closer to Los Angeles than the Tx/La border. That is
a lot of space for O’Rouke to cover to convenience people he is the one to vote for.
It will never happen IMO.
My sympathies on the loss of your furry friend; we have suffered that loss numerous times over the years and it never gets easier.
Cruz has been well-behaved since Trump has won though right?
I think because he’s not beloved in the Senate; far from it. Anyway, we need him in the Senate for the next 16 years, if possible.
..... This could very well get extremely Brutal ..... Never underestimate the Strength and Cunning of your Opponent ...
I didn’t realize he didn’t have much of a lead. Guess I’ll make some GOTV calls or whatever I can do.
Some months back I got a text from the democrats campaign wanting to know if they could count on my vote. I tested back saying they could count on me voting for Ted Cruz. They texted back wanting to know why. I told them many reasons, immigration number one. Surprisingly they were polite, so I was too.
That is yesterday’s news and no one was opposed to Cruz because he dared to run against Trump.
This will be a real blast for the President- a Texas sized rally, he’ll love it and we know Texans love the President.
