And of course I wonder if he would still be alive if he were liviing American rather than a tropical paradise that had inferior health care for his serious issue that could have been possibly medicated quickly

Mark will you pass on our hellos and love to his widow? Has she remarried I wonder? She was much younger, very attractive and a great cook as I recall. Kinda an “in demand” combo.

Just put on Lucy food in crock pot. With her candida, I give her only dry grain free food and cook her wet. Today’s batch is all organic and includes beef, barley, brown rice, avocado, garlic, tomatoes, carrots, parsley, apple. She rarely gets beef usually turkey or chicken but the gal next door, groomer who rescued Lucy has a freezer full of “home grown” beef, venison, pork and pheasant. I used 2# of the beef.

I do a lot of cooking for them when I am here. Not her strong point or interest at 25

I made myself 3 breakfast sandwiches (just one for now) On Brownberry thin buns, with pimento spread, and a lg dollop of eggs that were scrambled with mozz cheese.

Nice day here. Not as humid and cooler. Low 80s will be high

Jim and me at our lunch yesterday(Jim was my HS & college BF for 7 years and still a good friend) We live about hour and half apart.. He drove down my way for a lunch date. Our HS reunion is in a few weeks

NO I had not seen this. helps one thing .. hurts another.

Problem is that the candida feeds on wheat, corn etc. Her condition is quite bad on the external (the dark all around her eyes, isn’t cool markings - it is candida. She has it on all appendages, heavily in ears etc.

The problem is that what is going on externally is going on internally and usually worse. and it can kill them by the organs internally affected

So I am giving her anti fungal things (ACV, coconut oil , various EOs) and avoiding grain.

The Doc’s just like vets like to universally prescribe two things: cortisone and antibiotics. Both of which do not help candida but actually make it worse.

Lucy is an old gal like me and I am just doing my best to make her last days here fun and as comfortable as possible. I am pretty well convinced her first 10 years were just tied outside on a tether.

Been going to the sites where people have shared their stories, successes and problems.
