I specifically searched for the title and nothing came up.
That’s b/c the other one was posted 7 min after yours...
The Free Republic search function is dog meat, to put it nicely.
If you search for a complete title, it won’t work.
Best work around is to choose one unique word in a title.
Try searching for just a single important word in the title, and changing the drop-down search option to ‘Title’.
In this case, the article may have been posted after you searched but before you posted. It can happen.
