Trump voicing concerns about son being entangled in Mueller probe

(CNN) - President Donald Trump is concerned about whether his son Donald Trump Jr. might have exposure in the special counsel's Russia investigation, leading to his increasingly frenzied public agitation over Robert Mueller, sources close to the White House tell CNN.

Trump has been concerned for months now that the Mueller probe could reach his family, and potentially his son-in-law Jared Kushner, but his focus has turned to his namesake in recent weeks, one person who speaks with Trump frequently tells CNN. This is one of several reasons Trump has upped his public attacks on Mueller, because he doesn't want him touching his family, the person adds.

Trump Jr. and his attorney have insisted he has always told the truth. But his claims publicly and to the Senate Judiciary Committee that he never told his father about the 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian attorney promising dirt on Hillary Clinton have been contradicted by others in Trump's orbit. Michael Cohen, Trump's longtime attorney and former fixer, is said to be prepared to testify that the President knew about the Trump Tower meeting ahead of time sources with knowledge of the matter told CNN. Trump has denied knowing about the meeting before it happened.

If someone came to a campaign and said they had deleterious information on your security sloppy opponent that would disqualify her to hold high office, why wouldn’t you at least meet with such a person to see if they actually had such information. Didn’t McCain use that explanation when foreign nationals made his “aware” turned over the “dossier” to him? Trump did not collude or conspire to use false information. However Obama’s FBI did.

only around 90 days left until mid terms. After that the Trump jihad begins, IMO.

Why would POTUS be worried about Don Jr.?

Can't POTUS just pardon Jr. if he is in trouble?

Donald Jr. testified that he didn’t tell his father about the meeting.

Michael Cohen is reportedly saying that Trump knew about the meeting.

Where is the so-called “contradiction”? Has Cohen said how Trump knew? Assuming not, then no contradiction exists until he does, and labeling it as such prematurely is ... FAKE NEWS.

"...sources close to the White House tell CNN."

Yeah...from the person in the porta-potty down the street. The same place CNN gets all their news stories...from the "terlet" as Archie Bunker used to say.

Did you see Erin Burnett and her stupid piece about the “walls are closing in on Trump”?

I have a question for her: Hey Erin, who did your plastic surgery? You used to look like a scarecrow. All of a sudden you’ve got a full figure, so unless you’re pregnant, what happened?

Don’t tell me that Jake “Tapped” you? That would be “CNN Collusion of the personal kind”.

Remember. If CNN can make up “Fake news”, so can we, but we don’t, esp. regarding CNN. I don’t think they’ve told the truth since 1994, so all we are doing is calling them out for it.

That is creative. It reminds me of the Apache torture methods. They captured a family in a wagon in southwest New Mexico and tied the father to the wheel right side up. .They built a fire and then rolled his head into the fire. Savages.

I don’t know how true it is but in some realistic westerns I’ve seen them torture a cowboy or army guy by tying him down then building a fire under his feet and moving the fire up his leg as it burns away. The pain must have been ‘almost’ unbearable but not enough to kill them; at least not quickly. If they were lucky the damage and pain would cause them to pass out for a time.

The savagery of such an act boggles the mind. It’s clear they didn’t think of their enemy as human. I like to think some of them got the same treatment at some point down the line.

Of course from their perspective the white man had probably killed someone close to them so the hate in their hearts and minds must have been raging out of control. In such a state; I’m not so sure I wouldn’t want to do something equally savage if I had seen the enemy kill my wife and kids or parents.

The Apache were particularly savage. They competed with each other, one preferred method was to sharpen small aspen trees. I wont go beyond that because children come here . They were held in very low regard. My great Grandfather was a horse seller in northern New Mexico near Pecos in the late 1800s. His son, my grandfather was with him most of the time. My grandfather was actually shot in a bar in cripple creek Colorado . I ask him when I was a boy ,if Billy the Kid actually killed 21 men and he never looked up. He said “ yep and they don’t count indians” , True story.
Santa fe has a town square . It is historic. It has a sta a monument to the pioneers. On one side is the inscription “ to the heroes who have fallen in the various battles with savage indians in the territory of New Mexico “ But they chizzled out the word “savage” . You can see that right here. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1&biw=1280&bih=584&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=sUhnW7HROqjajwTSubn4Bw&q=statue+in+sante+fe+square+savages&oq=statue+in+sante+fe+square+savages&gs_l=img.3...55922.58631.0.59119.8.8.0.0.0.0.66.458.8.8.0....0...1c.1.64.img..0.0.0....0.WLnUlaZtai4

Since Trump took the only witch involved’s rightful job, anybody associated with him is subject to close scrutiny (& maybe much more) by the official witch hunt.

Again and again and again Leftists such as Mueller go a bit too far. They'll soon come to realize that when you attack a man's family, he will fight back ... especially a man like Donald Trump.
