Jim Acostas feud with Sean Hannity erupted on Twitter Wednesday evening after the CNN reporter accused the Fox News host of peddling lies for profit and injecting poison into the American public.
Hannity is a propagandist for profit, peddling lies every night, Mr. Acostatweeted to his 665,000 followers, neglecting to tag Mr. Hannity directly.
He says hes just a talk show host, not a journalist, the CNN chief White House correspondent wrote. But hes injecting poison into the nations political bloodstream warping public attitudes about the press. Im confident in the long run the truth will prevail.
Mr. Hannity fired back about an hour later, slamming Mr. Acosta as fake news.

The left hates any rebuttal to their ideas, because their ideas are indefensible. All they have left is suppression,
Hannity should ignore Acosta. This is the only way Acosta can gain attention, so Hannity should not play his game.
Asscosta is crying ‘fakenews’ is he?
Cnn, Acosta and all liberal media constantly call Trump and his supporters stupid, racist, homophobic, deplorable, Nazis, KKK, etc.... and then Jim has the nerve to complain about decency.
Typical.
Well said.
Long ago I read this description of life in prison: it's based on lies, backed up by violence.
Upset because he was heckled at a Trump rally?! Nothing about Waters and Booker insighting violence against anyone that utters the slightest support for anything conservative!? Blacks exclusive targeting of whites with the knockout game!? Restaurants and other businesses refusing conservatives service?! Spitting on them! Stealing their property and assaulting them?! Acosta is told to go home at a rally and thats upsetting?!
I can’t wait until this Acosta guy goes a step too far and gets fired. Should be coming soon. At some point, CNN will not be able to support something he says or does (hard as that will be to believe, when it happens).
He is right. We are too stupid not to vote for Trump. He wins.
“Hannity should ignore Acosta. This is the only way Acosta can gain attention, so Hannity should not play his game.”
Couldn’t agree more. Acosta is an attention whore who will do and say virtually anything to be noticed. It’s working for Acosta. He’s a no talent, who before Donald Trump was elected, was an obscure contributor at CNN.
I bet dollars to doughnuts, Sean talks about the newest NYT Editorial Board member, Sarah Jeong, tonight .... Just sayin ...
“Hannity should ignore Acosta. This is the only way Acosta can gain attention, so Hannity should not play his game.”
And deny us a rich dose of Schadenfreude?
The Left hasn’t had an original idea since Marx’s pen ran out of ink.
“Hannity should ignore Acosta. This is the only way Acosta can gain attention, so Hannity should not play his game.”
I agree, but I think he should do it publicly, e.g.:
“I have decided not to personally respond to the newscaster from CNN who has desperately tried to build some kind of viewership by sensationalistic and biased ‘reporting’, and latching on to the credibility of what we here at Fox work so hard to earn. If and when this individual makes newsworthy comments as he continues to embarrass himself and his network, I will respond simply by referring to this individual as ‘a CNN newscaster’. Beyond that, we have way too many important issues in this country to address, and I will not waste any more time on someone who lacks objectivity and honesty.”
Spiro Agnew had them pegged 45 years ago. Nobody listened. I did and I was only 13.
I believe you’re right, he’s already pushed the line and he’ll step over it one day.
Jim Acosta...usual and customary lacetrimmed pink panty, fake news putz.
Abso - f*ckin' - lutely!
Perfect description of Stalinism (a leftist brand of tyranny).
Good job Sean! Acosta’s response sounds to me like a direct hit!
