Wednesday, on “MSNBC Live with Katy Tur,” actor and director Rob Reiner made the argument that Fox News and Breitbart News Network are “trafficking in another narrative” that is different from outlets such as the Washington Post and the New York Times working to get the truth out and that we “might be the last stage of a civil war.”
On the media, Reiner said, “I think of it as two mainstream medias. You have the Washington Post, the New York Times, all the networks except for Fox, working very hard to get the truth out.”
He continued that while there are good journalists at Fox, “this is the first time that you have mainstream media essentially divided into two halves, so that you have Fox, Breitbart, Sinclair, and Alex Jones, which has now been taken off of Facebook, thank God, you know, trafficking in another narrative.

The MSM has been caught in so many lies, had their tremendous bias laid bare repeatedly... Only someone willfully ignorant and delusional could believe they are after truth.
For all you liberal lurkers out there reading this. In this day and age, if you say you believe anything the MSM spews out you are self-identifying as an idiot. You might as well hang a "kick me" sign on your own back. Don't get me wrong, the rest of us appreciate you letting us know you have issues and challenges dealing with reality.

He and the rest of the lunatic left are just angry that their monopoly on the news media, and thus their control of what America hears, has been countered. If this guy truly believes that liberal news media are 'working very hard to get the truth out' then he is incapable of objectivity.
Tell Reiner “We are not Socialists.” You loaded your pockets with money as an actor and now you are a Socialist?

Capitalism vs. Socialism? Who is winning? The media pushes a message most people cannot relate to.
I sincerely hope we can stay free without a second civil war, but this looks to me like the prelude to that war, not its last stage.

How much longer that will continue remains unseen... I believe the Disney/Fox merger will quickly change the face of Fox News.. In fact, The Trump bashing is starting to come, not only from the fag Shep but others as well...

Reiner is talking about the ‘truth’ that humanity would be better off if the U.S. were brought down to a socialist level. This is the ‘truth’ the Washington Post, New York Times, and MSM are trying to get out.
Even after making the movie, he probably thinks Spinal Tap is a real band. ;)
What they really hate is that an opposition, any opposition (even a weak one, very weak, such as Fox) even exists. If they could defend their ideas on the merits, it wouldn’t bother them that there are opposing ideas. Their ideas would triumph easily.
That’s not the case, so as with all totalitarians, they want to shut down opposition. It’s not as if the right owns the majority of media outlets. Heck, we’re even forced to fund their agenda, via PBS/NPR.
They’d love to do the same politically-just kill the opposition party, such as it is. They don’t think any dissenting voices should even be allowed, not real dissent.
Their “tolerance” is almost literally only skin-deep.

Well, Fox News, Fox Business, and the Fox Broadcasting network are not going to be part of Disney, they are not part of the merger. So let not your heart be troubled on that count.
