If Mueller proves that Manafort broke banking laws to avoid paying taxes on the 60 million the Ukrainians paid him, I don’t think Trump will pardon him. Even if it was only revealed because of political reasons, it’s still a real crime the likes of which have sent many people to jail.

I don’t think Trump owes him anything, since I don’t think Manafort has an dirt on Trump to withhold.

The diff here is this on pardons as I know - if Manafort is found guilty of a federal crime Pres Trump can pardon him but not for state & local.

Frankly, Mueller knows he is walking a fine line between Manafort and himself. If there is a huge press MSM blowout on Manafort it draws attention to Mueller himself and his own crimes.

He’s been a dirty cop for years and I’m looking to see how he is going to quietly extricate himself from this circus and Manafort he created. Im not saying yes or no about Manafort .... Lady Justice is blind.

BUT, if you recall those 12 russians Mueller handed over to a obscure Office of Whatever & Who & Whenever....and then Putin’s public cooperation the MSM and The Derp State backed down....

Just watching and waiting.

I would consider pardoning him even if he did it - because his rights have been trampled, and he has been denied due process. Mueller is the one who must be punished for abuse under the cover of law.

Trump had better start caring about the Constitutional rights of American citizens. Politics is not the be-all and end-all. Caputo said he would never work for another Republican campaign - and I do not blame him one little bit.
