Kind of like the guy gets locked up and first night someone yells out 32 and the entire block roars with laughter, his new friend explained that since the jokes are so old they have memorized them and just yell out a number. This goes on and one night the BNG yells 17.....Silence....
NF- well some of us can tell em and others can’t.

Just keep in mind, weather experts in the early seventies told us we were all going to die because of man made global cooling.

These experts don't know shit from Shinola!

Temperatures during the 1930's, much less just a thousand years ago, were warmer than now as well. Then it got colder. Then it warmed up for a time before becoming colder again. Then .....

“By 2050, annual average temperatures are expected to rise in the United States by approximately 2.5 degrees Fahrenheit under even the most optimistic projections.”

In 32 years nearly everyone will have forgotten this ridiculous prediction and the people who made it will either be dead or retired.

Here. It’s hot as hell and dryer than hell. There is definitely climate change. And we didn’t cause it.

****this ridiculous prediction and the people who made it ****

It’s how they make a living - predicting stuff!!!! New hires will likely make opposing predictions for attention and job security.

And mother nature will just keep on keepin’ on;)

Bastardi on Twitter today.

"Amazing what you find if you look, Scorching hot now in the southwest, but for all the hysteria, so far this month average high temperatures have been below normal in much of the current climate ambulance chaser targets"

"

.

"@BigJoeBastardi 8h8 hours ago More JMA upcoming 30 days vs same period last year SST shows big oceanic cooling in 1 year, especially Atlantic. Wonder why we dont hear about this, or Greenland snows, or low tornado season or arctic north of 80 north below average etc etc etc"

In fact, 16 of the 17 warmest years on record have occurred since 2001.

Depends on the meaning of "on record" -- a quick search of that phrase shows a World Bank claim that the "record" starts in 1880, but a NASA site seems to indicate 1950 is the baseline date.

“Worse weather” is a value judgment. Some people like wind and rain more than others.

the rise in temperatures over the past century has been unprecedented.

I could not get past the sentence above. I’m sure not going for more.
