I think Biden would be a strong candidate.

But what I think is missing from this article is that if the Trump economic juggernaut continues, the white working class voters will see that he delivered on his promises, and will not see the need to change. In this context, “four more years” beats “change”. In 2024, that will likely not be the case, but I think it is in 2020.

Biden?

With all the skeletons he has in his closet?

Nope.

The Hill reported on Sunday that Bernie Sanders is considering a 2020 presidential run. When asked if the Vermont senator was keeping the door open for another go at the presidency, an unnamed associate of Sanders replied that “yes is the answer,” according to The Hill. That same associate suggested that Sanders doesn’t want Joe Biden to win the Democratic nomination, should the former vice president seek it.

“[Sanders] thinks he’s earned the right to run again and he believes if he would have been the [Democratic] candidate, he would have won against Trump,” the source told the Hill. “The last thing he’s going to do is step aside and let Joe Biden take it.”

I think Biden would be a strong candidate.

He would make a tough contender because like Trump he's willing to swing hard.

He could rally the remaining white working middle class Democratic voters who they see as fighting for them.

Hillary made the mistake of discounting Trump.

If the sources are correct, Trump clearly isn't discounting Biden; and he shouldn't.

Never say never.

White men need not apply! The Dems have gone full blast on identity politics. A black or Hispanic candidate will be the headliner on their presidential ticket!

Especially when Warren is constantly running her mouth about raising taxes back up-—and OVER 50%.
