President Trump said Tuesday that he misspoke when he said he doesn’t see why Russia would have meddled in the 2016 presidential election, clarifying that he accepts the U.S. intelligence community’s findings of election interference.
At the White House on Tuesday, the president told reporters that he meant he doesn't see why Russia "wouldn't" be responsible.
In Helsinki, speaking at a press conference next to Vladimir Putin a day earlier, Trump had said he doesn't "see any reason why" Russia would be behind election meddling.

I was watching Dana Perino this afternoon and I thought: “Why is she so anti-Trump?” Then I thought that maybe she had ambitions for a plum job in the JEB ‘low energy’ BUSH Presidency.
There are a lot of Establishment folks who had hopes for being part of a JEB BUSH presidency that were quashed by Trump. Angry people do not forget who it was that ruined something for them.
I’m not concerned what third parties are saying about Trump misspeaking.

I can’t imagine President Trump accepting the so-called findings of the Obama Administration, including the coup plotters James Comey at the FBI, John Brennan at the CIA, James Clapper at the Defense Intelligence Agency and Michael Hayden at the NSA.

Then again nothing he could have said yesterday would have calmed down the Deep State.

Anti-Trumpers don’t say “collusion” much any more. They say “meddled” (without explaining what that means except “that’s what the spooks said”). The gullible media audience members have heard “collusion” for 2 years and assume it means the same as “meddling.”
Donald looked very worn and haggard in that conference and appears to be developing the nose thing JP Morgan had.
My initial thought about all this was that it might hurt Trump or help the Goebbelsmedia. On further consideration, I remembered all those times it thought they had him.
Of course, the Goebbelsmedia has gone insane but have they gone a bridge too far? Not only is the nation’s Hysteria Quoten been exceeded but its behavior has turned off much of the former Goebbelsmedia audience and now don’t care what it thinks.
Does anyone think that Trump has lost any support among those who voted for him? I don’t.
