Lucky the cop didn’t shoot innocents!

Negligent behavior is still negligent, even if he got lucky and didn't harm anyone. It upgrades to worse consequences if he does hit anyone, but I think he should face some consequences for firing the way that he was.

Sorry to break this to you...

Allowing people to get away, who are endangering others is also negligent behavior.

Who knows how many would have died, if that officer didn’t put an end to the chase when he did?

“Oh yeah..., never thought of that.”

On a slightly different tangent - There must be an awful lot of VERY UPSET LAWYERS in Las Vegas.
It seems that no bystanders were hurt, etc.
WHO CAN WE SUE? wail the lawyers.
THIS IS NOT WHAT JUSTICE LOOKS LIKE!!
. continuing .
This cop took an enormous risk. For those who object to what he did: Do you want someone to second-guess how you do your job? IMO we need cops like this.
Or would you rather have weenie cops who are only worried about showing up safe at the next barbecue?
Given the story in print and the video I rate this officer as a full-blooded hero.
