You'd be singing a different tune if you were burying your child or spouse because one of those rounds took their life...from the thugs gun or the officers weapon.
Many would defend these actions till the cows come home...until it was YOUR loved one that was killed by the errant round. Then you'd sing the blues all the way to civil court suing the crap outta the police force.

Look....criminals on the run and pushing out live fire have to be stopped...period. It matters not whose child or spouse they’r related to which has nothing whatsoever to do with the criminal on the run.
What part of pull over, or stop do people not understand. It equally doesn’t matter what past experiences a criminal has had with officers.........if you’re involved and on the run presently you’re going down if you pull a gun and begin shooting.
