Crowley pulled a Cantor and took his eye off the ball... Had he actually campaigned he would have won the district easily... he thought he had it easily.. didn’t bother to do anything... and wound up losing in a low turn out primary.
He’d likely win handily in a general election, provided he actually campaigned and got his organization moving.
Republican won’t sneak in and win by a divided left. Cortez got effectively a few percentage points of the actual general electorate vote.... In a general against a motivated and engaged Crowley she would likely pull no more than 10% of the vote... And Crowley would still win the district as an R in that district isn’t going to get 20% of the vote.
So if Crowley were to actually get his machine going and campaign, he could give up half of his 2016 vote totals of 41% to this doofus woman, and still would win...Yes, he won the district with over 80% of the vote:

In a head to head match up, with Crowley engaged, he would almost certainly win a write in campaign.
The MSM and left wing narrative have so oversold what this woman has done... Crowley got lazy, and she snuck in... He engages and shows up, he would still crush her.
