WASHINGTON — A Russian woman who tried to broker a secret meeting between Donald J. Trump and the Russian president, Vladimir V. Putin, during the 2016 presidential campaign was charged Monday and accused of working with Americans to carry out a secret Russian effort to influence American politics.

At the behest of a senior Russian government official, the woman, Mariia Butina, made connections through the National Rifle Association, religious organizations and the National Prayer Breakfast to try to steer the Republican Party toward more pro-Russia policies, court records show.

The more authors for an article, the greater the fabrication. This one has a Fake Factor of 3. Pretty high.

It does contain a lot more information than the DOJ press release. Time will tell but the Feds don’t like to bring cases before the court that they will lose.

... religious organizations and the National Prayer Breakfast ??? What the heck? They couldn’t wait another day to bring these phony baloney charges? They had to do on the day Trump met with Putin?

This is a serious case of deep state malfeasance. Of course, the tainted NY Times and the media (who’s cheese slid off their crackers and hasn’t gotten back on it since election night) are more than willing to go along and never question whether this is valid or not.

America is falling apart... It may be time for Trump to declare martial law to contain these lunatics.

You are kidding right? I mean, you forgot the /sarcasm tag. The feds CONSTANTLY bring cases that are thrown out, which they can’t win. They want to bankrupt you, until you submit. Do you not even read FR or the news?

...

But if Trump was already colluding with the Russians why was her effort necessary?

And don’t forget a team of rogue anti-Trump FBI agents and lawyers take over FBI headquarters, and that Obama had placed members of his team in charge of every intelligence agency; how is it that Mueller can’t “prove” anything he wants.

And don’t forget most of the anti-Trump FBI agents worked on the Mueller investigation at one time or another. It seems obvious the entire Mueller team is biased against the President. This Russian collusion stuff stinks.

At this point, the only thing that is going to help is the courts. That and transparency.

Yes, the Democrats are absolutely sh*t-weasels.

Yes, the globalists never learned the lessons history has to teach about stupid thoughtless and blinkered people trying to put everyone’s eggs in one basket.

But none of that means that all influence on the GOP is good influence.

Ms. Butina viewed the N.R.A. as a powerful force for shifting Republican policies, court records show. She described the group as “the largest sponsor of the elections to the U.S. Congress” and as a sponsor of the Conservative Political Action Conference. The N.R.A. is not named in court records, but its ties to Ms. Butina and Mr. Torshin have been previously reported. The N.R.A. did not respond to a message seeking comment.

Is that even correct? I thought that the NRA money is small change in comparison to union money.

Looks like they spend a lot on lobbying but no where near what other organizations do on campaigns.
