"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." I think God would accept them as "brides of Christ" if they feel drawn to that. For the rest of the naysayers, it was the Pope who said "Who am I to judge". That settles it.

God and the Pope agree so case closed.

But if they're not virgins, they're not consecrated virgins.

And if they're not widows, they're not consecrated widows.

If they're neither virgins nor widows, they're "consecrated women." It's a category thing.
