Putin mentioned Hillary by name as receiving funds illegally transferred out of Russia: "$400 million as a contribution to the campaign of Hillary Clinton"

maybe that's why the Dems's minds are blowing

The audio on this one is sort of crappy, I started to watch it but then switched to another one that had much better audio.

Trump did not need to have this summit. I am convinced he did it to have the exact effect on the Left it is now having. They are fixated on Russia Russia Russia again.

Wondering if Tucker Carlson, Hannity and or Ingraham will mention this on their programs this evening?

Sounds like Putin was a little tired of all the Russia bashing and decided to feed the deep state/Hillary a big ol 5h!7 sandwich.

What an amazingly successful trip by POTUS. Takes on the deep state’s New World Order and kicks its butt!

First stop NATA where he tells them “choose NATO (i.e., an alliance with the USA) or choose the EU. You can’t choose both. And if you’re choosing NATO, I expect to see the money before I leave”!

Then off to the UK to tell PM May how to do Brexit properly (which she is now implementing). You can just hear the cracks in the EU widening as “No Deal”, the British version of #walkaway, becomes much more likely.

Then finally to Helsinki to stand with Putin in opposition to the festering dishonesty of the international totalitarians.

Leftist heads simultaneously exploding in 24 different time zones.

Can’t wait till PDJT gets home to the hero’s welcome he so richly deserves!

Oh, and as a P.S.:
There is now no doubt that FLotUS Melania Trump is the most gracious and glamorous woman on the planet!

Okay, I have been here on FR 18 years and I will get Flamed and may get banned because, just like with the Left, here the Narrative is all. But I am sorry. We are now taking as Gospel truth the word of Vladimir Putin. Putin who has invaded neighbors, conspired with our enemies, conspired with Obama in the Iran deal. Clearly supported efforts aimed at, if not influencing the election then in sowing discord in its wake. Putin a guy, regardless of today’s presser is likely overjoyed at the havoc Mueller is causing. We are supposed to believe that guy?! Sorry, count me out. As a longtime friend, one who served 37 years in the DEA on the Russian and Central Asian desks, as that friend has repeatedly told me. Putin is both evil and insane.

There WAS collusion with Russia, and I think it will come out!

In the press conference, Putin brought up Bill Browder, and stated that Browder sent $400 million to the Clinton campaign. Bill Browder's lawyer was Sergei Magnitsky, who found out that Russian officials, and oligarchs, were embezzling $250 million from Browders company, Hermitage Capital Management. Magnitsky was imprisoned, and beaten to death in a Russian prison. Browder then lobbied for, and helped pass the Magnitsky Act, that was created to punish Russian oligarchs.

In 2016, Browder sent a letter to the DOJ, informing them of ongoing efforts by Russia to lobby the repeal of the Magnitsky Act. Here's a link to that letter. Notice two of the main actors, a Russian cmopany called Prevezon, and Fusion GPS.

So, Fusion GPS was lobbying for Russia (ie. Putin), to repeal the Magnitsky Act. The above letter also mentions the workings of a lawyer for Prevezon, Natalia Veselnitskaya. If that name is familiar, it's the name of the Russian lawyer that met with Donald Trump Jr and was 'proof' of Russian collusion.

Now, tie this in with Stefan Halper, and his work on George Popadopoulos, to setup the meeting, and you have collusion between;
1) The FBI - Stefan Halper
2) Russia - Prevezon lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya
and
3) The Clinton campaign - Fusion GPS

So, why would Prevezon want to setup Trump, and for Clinton to win? To get the Magnitsky Act repealed, or de-fanged!

Why did Putin bring up Browder? Because Clinton lost, and now has ZERO political clout. Putin knows that Trump is not going to be bribed into pushing repeal of the Magnitsky Act, so the best he can do, is to throw some turmoil into the US political scene.

There are 2 givens that can be taken from the press conference - 1) had Putin had the leverage against Trump that Democrats claim, like some pee tape, then Putin would not have brought up Magnitsky. And, 2) the noose that Hillary claimed would be around everyone's neck, if Trump won, has been throw over a large branch, and is waiting for it's first neck.

The most important line from Trump, the statesman:

Concrning yhe summit in the midst of Mueller’s recent indictment of 12 Russian officials, and calls in the U.S. to not have the summit:

“I would rather take a political risk in pursuit of peace than to risk peace in pursuit of politics.”

Is it just me or is what Russia supposedly did during the election not all that surprising, not all that interesting and not all that consequential?

Seriously, it is not moving the needle much for me. It’s like the media is trying to force me to get all up in arms about it. They act like it’s the end of the world.

I think they want someone to blame for Clinton’s loss and anything that doesn’t move that narrative forward is blasphemy.

Remember, TRUMP IS THE STORM!

For instance, we can bring up the Mr. [William F. ] Browder in this particular case. Business associates of Mr. Browder have earned over $1.5 billion in Russia. They never paid any taxes, neither in Russia nor in the United States, and yet the money escaped the country. They were transferred to the United States. They sent huge amount of money, $400 million as a contribution to the campaign of Hillary Clinton. Well, that’s the personal case. It might have been legal, the contribution itself, but the way the money was earned was illegal. So we have a solid reason to believe that some intelligence officers accompanied and guided these transactions. So we have a — an interest of questioning them. We can all — that — that could be a first step, and we can also extend it. Options abound, and they all can be found in an appropriate legal framework.

Yes, now we know why the liberal ladies protest too much ... Mr. Brennan ought not make travel plans.

The presser was going g okay until the last question from LeMire of the AP, where he essentially challenged President Trump to “in front of the world” tell Putin not to interfere in elections like 2016 and who did he believe, U.S. Intel or Putin. It was a gotcha q. But I wish President Trump would have kept his Nswer short, especially since he had already said this was one (of many) items discussed. Should have said..”already discussed” and ended it. Any other answer was and did come back to bite.
