Republican lawmakers praised former FBI lawyer Lisa Page following a closed-door session Friday, saying she was "cooperative" and "credible" and much more forthcoming than FBI agent Peter Strzok (her former paramour). According to select committee members, Page provided new information and was less "smug" than Strzok.
Republicans were not impressed with Strzok's testimony on Thursday, to put it mildly.
"He was not honest. He was not credible in explaining his actions, and yet he's still on the payroll of the FBI," Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) said on "Fox and Friends" Saturday morning.
"Why is he still getting a paycheck from the American taxpayer? He should not be there anymore. He doesn't have credibility and he needs to move on," he added.
The GOP-led investigation is being run by the chairmen of the House Judiciary and Oversight committees.
I found Lisa Page to be more credible than Peter Strzok, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) told reporters as he left the hearing, which lasted nearly five hours.
I didnt agree with her characterization of every text message and every piece of evidence, but we did not see the smug attitude from Lisa Page that we saw from Peter Strzok, he added.

If he lied to congress it’s up to congress to prove he lied thereby making him a felon. Cut the crap. He’s going to get away with it.
As for Ms. Page the hearing should be public. This is the public’s business. Mandatory. Both sides want it in secret. The people are getting screwed by both parties. Public embarrassment is the best we can do but these folks have no shame so nothing will come of it.
It's something to think about............
Maybe...not half....but 40%

Excellent!
I’d fire him for that smug smart ass attitude in Congress alone. He may not like being there, but it is one of the three branches of our government, and he should show respect for one of the cornerstones of our government if nothing else.
Imagine having an employee called on the red carpet, and this is what he acts like.
I’d have his severance check ready by the time he got back to his office. If he was headed directly home, I’d send it registered special courier, with directions they wait for him until he signs it.
Did she Strzok the Weiner? Or did the Wiener get Strzok’d?
One of my favorite movies.
“Hell hath no fury ...”
Why aren’t you smiling? Was it worth it? Treason and adultery is so empowering!
I won't be happy with anything less than them both in the slammer.... or what the used to do for people who commit sedition. They are both equally guilty.
From her picture, it looks like she washed the mayonnaise out of her hair compared to the older stock photos of her. For a while, she had the Debbie whats-her-name schultz thing going on.
