"Impeach him for what?" Gowdy said. "No."

"I've had my differences with Rod Rosenstein," said Gowdy, who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. "I talk to him quite often privately, which again is a lot more constructive than the public hearings we have."

well rosenstein is ignoring Congress and their document requests, request for witnesses and stonewalling answers... so the ball is in Congress’s court find RR in contempt then if he doesn’t cough up the documents Trump can fire him with less flack..

either Congress is good for something or they are good for nothing...

****”guaranteed he has something in his life he wants to keep quiet”****

Says it all... We all do, but he seems willing to pay a larger price than most to keep it quiet.

I am still star struck and in Awe of his brain... give me a couple of hours/days and some pads of paper and I can do what he does ... but he does it in the moment in real time.

So, you think 2/3 of the Senate would vote to convict Rosenstein, if the House impeaches him? They would NOT. It would make Trump and conservatives look like ineffective fools, or worse. Liberals would have a field with it for the midterms.

I know how impeachment of the President would lay out. I am not a liberal jerk.

I didn't accuse you of being a liberal or a jerk; I merely responded to your statement that "Well if Rosenstein can impeach the president for nothing, Rod can be likewise impeached for nothing" and pointed out that Rosenstein has no power or authority to impeach anyone.

The GOP Congress wants to hamstring Trump and obstruct the MAGA agenda. It couldn’t be more clear. We’ve been betrayed.

Not surprised. All of the supposed drama between the House and the DOJ seems very Kabuki-ish to me. Trump could end it if he elected to do so, and he hasn’t. I’ve not seen Trump end up on the losing side of anything involving him, so I imagine he’s got this covered as well.

What is the rush?? It’s only July. All rabid dogs on the right need to relax and let the process work. More hearings are upcoming. Trump actually is getting great mileage out of the slow walking process.

This needs to dragged out all the way to election day. It’s likely a special counsel is requested as the house investigation will continue to gain momentum. Perjury charges are forthcoming.

In addition, Mueller just let the cat out of the bag. There was zero collusion. No votes were changed. Trump has basically been cleared.

It won’t get that far. He will be impeached for lying to Congress. He will resign before.

True, but an impeachment would give Trump political cover to fire him.

This impeachment action has not been rushed. Congress has given DOJ under Rosenstein more than a year. He knew this was coming.

President Trump will handle these Rinos and corrupt gov'mint officials as well.

BTW, We still want the MAGA agenda from President Trump and hopefully, he will deliver.

He has told us that he will not sign up for another one of the those huge Omnibus Bills from Paul Ryno ever again, which makes me believe that we will get the MAGA agenda.

I use Paul Ryno's name since another Freeper gave me the great idea of calling him a Rino which he is big time.

Paul Ryno has never ever delivered on giving President Trump a budget which is required by the U.S. constitution. BTW, we have been going on this Omnibus bill garbage for way too long. We need a "Budget" no foolin!!!!

President Trump will veto the Omnibus bill budget that Paul Ryno will deliver to him in September or Paul Ryno will be run out by the real Republican party in Congress.

No need for Congress to do what President Trump can do himself.

Correct. Rosenweasel is an employee of the executive branch. Its up to Trump to fire the POS. But I doubt that he will.

I’m glad he’s retiring from the Congress. He’s far too weak.

And Congress can also impeach as well.

Gowdy has been running interference for the Democrats for years.
