Salvini: It Will Take 50 Years To Expel 500,000 Illegal Migrants From Italy
Daily Caller ^ | 7-15-2018 | Sharan Kumar

Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has spoken out Thursday against the current rate of migrant deportations in Italy, claiming that it would take 50 years to expel a backlog of 500,00 illegal immigrants unless more than 10,000 migrants are deported per year, reports ANSA.

In an impromptu meeting with other EU officials, he stressed the time sensitivity of the migrant issue. Although Salvini made clear that he prefers a peaceful resettlement process for asylum seekers, he leans toward more aggressive deportation procedures after hundreds of additional migrants arriving by boat in the past months have exacerbated problem by overwhelming border control authorities and increasing the backlog.

“If arrivals in Europe are reduced there will be no problem at the internal borders of the EU and we can continue to work peacefully among peoples as we intend to do,” said Salvini, Express reports.

Salvini’s comments on the migrant issue were preceded by his controversial decision to prevent NGO boats carrying rescued migrants from docking in Italian ports. A tough critic of the clandestine immigration taking place in Europe’s southern border, Salvini has justifies his policy by asserting a Italy-First stance, saying that “Italy cannot become Europe’s refugee camp.” While this no-landing policy was the norm of his predecessors, Salvini is more flagrant in his enforcement of the matter and has recruited allies across the European Union to more effectively combat this issue.

“I have to do everything I can to protect the people who live in this country …. Nobody will ever change my view that the fight against human trafficking and clandestine immigration is one of this country’s primary objectives,” Salvini said on RTL radio on Friday.

Salvini’s hardline immigration policy was recently overruled by the Italian prime minister in a case involving a docked NGO boat

And I think bambini are so appealing.

We need more Italian women, more WESTERN women, who think that way.

The existential issue of our civilization, right now, is not birth control. It is not abortion, either. Those are just symptoms.

The existential problem of Western Civilization is that too many Western women have lost interest in the job of being wives and mothers. They chase after college degrees, and go on to careers, in search of "fulfillment", something that women used to achieve through creation of their family, through children and grandchildren. Unless we can change the culture, and motivate women to want to be wives and mothers above all else, then this civilization will collapse within a generation or two.

Few, if any, think they are part of any "surplus." Each has his own purposes, however far his "liberty" will take him in his "pursuit of happiness."

Western society is enhanced by more kids from families who are able to support them through their own efforts. Those who will demand provision from what I've worked for, for the benefit of MY kids and grandkids, I consider a liability.

Fumicino airport in Rome handles 34,000,000 travelers a year. 500,000 illegals can be exported in six months.

>>“Salvini: It Will Take 50 Years To Expel 500,000 Illegal Migrants From Italy”<<

This Salvini is both and idiot and a puppet of the EU criminals in Brussels. The 500,000 illegal aliens could easily be removed from Italian soil in 500 HOURS, maybe less. Meanwhile, all of the Brussels criminals should be arrested for aiding and abetting the hordes of criminals who are invading Europe.

They don’t “chase after” university degrees, they work for them and attain them.

If things had been made easier for women with brains and ability to follow their interests while still having children, we might not have ended up in this predicament. That was the original purpose of the women’s movement of the sixties and it has been totally swallowed up by all the peripheral nonsense. So many radicals saw a strong movement shaping up and jumped on board like plagiarizers.

Please read my comment #57. Salvini and Di Maio are the opposite of puppets of the EU globalists. They are mortal enemies of the pro-migration monsters.

This article took the statement out of context in time-honored media practice and made it sound like Salvini was a collaborator with the New World Order. Anyone who is following events in Italy would know this. Unfortunately, few are interested. You have to skip some of the freak show in the U.S. in order to have time to get the picture.

My point is that it is very difficult to raise multiple children, with both parents working. For women with modest careers, who make less than six figure incomes, the costs involved in getting others to take care of the kids, and do all the other things that the housewife does, can be greater than the wife's net pay.

"I was getting on a bus in Florence last summer."

Hard to believe that 600 years ago, Florence was the 'center' of the world.

“Why?”

Because the men are weak and the women welcome the conquerors.

That’s what the movement was all about. Making it easier. On-campus daycare, whatever it takes.

Without it, we have had tens of thousands of women postponing childraising, and then finding it hard to conceive.

As far as the job market is concerned, being female is the ultimate disability. Instead of making allowances for the physical difference and different social demands of women, they just decided not to hire them or to pay them less. So women had to commit to not having children while employed.

We lost not only the children who might have been born but in many cases a lot of the talent that the country could have profited from.

Sweden is the ultimate model of feminist benefits: state funded day care, night nurseries, fathers get five months parental leave -- and Sweden's native birth rate is still below replacement at 1.88 births/woman.

Because the culture has women not valuing being wives and mothers.

Why? Because as long as Italy isn’t willing to put its money where its mouth is, the EU will have it by the short hairs.
