This was an appalling security breach that could have resulted in dozens killed and wounded–including President Trump.
Friday night soon after Trump arrived at his Trump Turnberry golf club in Scotland, a Greenpeace protester flying a motored paraglider with a large anti-Trump banner hanging below flew within yards overhead of Trump who was outside receiving guests, forcing him to race inside with his Secret Service detail.
Inexplicably, first U.K. security on the perimeter and then U.S. security on top and around the building allowed the paraglider to fly unmolested over Trump, members of his national security team, senior administration officials and dozens of guests assembled outside, and the building–and then allowed the flyer to escape!

The President had just met the Queen the day before. There is no way his security would shoot a paraglider out of the sky unless they saw something through their sights. It would be an unimaginable event which would touch off chaos for the Queen, Theresa May, Nato, the world. I believe this was not a case of SS making a mistake.
With that said, our President should never return to his Scottish golf course during his Presidency nor even Great Britain. The Scottish people are statists/socialists, and have enormous animosity toward a man who fights for Capitalism and selfishness.
The only individual I recognize in this photo is John Kelly. If Trump was standing outside, he wasn't in camera range here. What astounded me is that everyone in the photo should have been aiming their sidearm at the intruder, but most were standing placidly or taking a video.

Heck with that, use a damn LASER pointer. Arm each SS person with one and while covering the president, aim for the eyes and blind him/her/it. Chances are the perp will crash while avoiding the pointers, with no one the wiser.

The paraglider is closer to the photographer than to the people taking pictures, and is about 40 yards in the air.
At this point President Trump is no longer outside, but is inside, protected by multiple walls.
So, it might be about 100 yards from President trump, with multiple walls, roofs, and ceilings in between.
Nasty stunt.
Hard to believe they could not catch the culprit.
They were lucky, reminds me of when a reporter was throwing shoes at GWB, he should have been taken out at once, it was so crazy watching him stand there and dodge shoes. Even though PDJT was inside who the hell knows what this ass hat could have been carrying. Very bad security breach. Should have been blown out of the sky. A Vulcan mini gun would have done a great job. AND THEY LET HIM GET AWAY!
Not really: this time you said 100 yards. Last time you said 200 yards. To me it looked like around 25 to 30 yards, max, from where he was at his low point to the tops of the heads of the people standing around uselessly gawking.
If he had been armed, he'd have had a good chance of hitting key persons, if not Trump, then John Kelly or others.
I was astounded at the inaction, including by the snipers on the roof visible in one of the videos at the link. They should have had weapons with telescopic sites aimed at him and tracking him.

But President Trump was inside by then.
Notice the people outside, looking at the paraglider, are looking away from the building. The guy furthest out front is almost underneath the machine.
