President Trump met with the queen of England today and committed several protocol gaffes that left many feeling that his behavior was an insult to Britain and lacked the respect that should be shown the monarch — and if not a monarch, a 92-year-old woman.
The president was soundly condemned on social media for walking in front of Queen Elizabeth as they inspected a guard of honor of the Coldstream Guards. The queen was forced to bob and weave as she caught up to walk alongside him.
Trump did appear to notice, and in the video below you’ll see that as she catches up with him, she gives the tiniest gesture with her hand, signaling to him to continue walking.
Earlier, the president and first lady Melania Trump defied protocol when they greeted the queen: They did not bow or curtsy, but instead opted to simply shake hands. It is not obligatory to bow, as Americans are not her subjects, but doing so is widely considered good manners.

The Queen was the only Monarch that obama did NOT bow to at meeting them.
Considering the way so many Brits have treated our President, it has to have taken extraordinary restraint not to pop her majesty the bird.
And she is how old? Although in really good shape for being that old, I doubt she thought anything of it. So much so, she asked the Trumps to stay longer for tea than they were scheduled to.

Only British Subjects bow before the Queen. In light of the fact that England would be speaking German but for the help of the United States, the Queen should be bowing to our President.
He did great and so did Melania. Americans don’t bow.

IMO...….World leaders, no matter who they are, should bow oly to God, not a dignitary, politician or even a monarch. The Queen of England, although a very classy lady is NOT a world leader but someone who inherited her position. I saw nothing wrong with how Trump acted before Queen Margret. At least he didn’t give her a gift of his speeches.

HOWEVER, regarding Obama...from the 0:55 mark where Obama's approach to the Queen commences, through shaking her hand, Obama does not bow or nod his head.
The “Queen” of that island over there is a nice lady. No sh*ts given for their monarchy and other nonsense. They need to worry about the Islamic flag flying over London within a generation and pray that America can save them AGAIN.

Technically all American citizens are sovereigns since all powers derive from us. Thus no American citizen should bow for any foreign potentate ever.
They usually add descriptors like "Cheeto","Julius or "Gibbon" to emphasize their orange meme.
