GOP Sen. John McCain blasted President Trump for his “disappointing” behavior at the NATO summit but assured the alliance that despite the president’s blistering comments, the United States stands solidly behind its longtime allies.
“President Trump’s performance at the NATO summit in Brussels was disappointing, yet ultimately unsurprising. There is little use in parsing the president’s misstatements and bluster, except to say that they are the words of one man,” McCain, chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said in a statement Thursday.
“Americans, and their Congress, still believe in the transatlantic alliance … and it is clear that our allies still believe in us as well,” he added.

Trying to get these countries to increase their NATO investment isn’t “against” our allies, it is to bolster and strengthen NATO - which is in their best interests.
I think McCain is still crying over the success of PDJT vs. his presidential failure. The POTUS isn’t “one man”, he represents the leader of our nation...regardless of McCain’s opinion.

NATO is about keeping the Americans in, the Russians Out, and the Germans down.
Trump is trying to confirm if that is still the case.
If not, then time to negotiate a new deal.

I don't think he's been seen in public since his daughter's wedding last November. The only photo of him from that day is one with Cindy, Meghan and her husband. He was in the Mayo Clinic in April of this year for stomach surgery, but no pictures were ever released.
Although, without a screwup like McCain, we'd not have had Obama. And without Obama, we'd not have Trump. We'd have Hillary, or some flavor of Hillary-lite, like Romney or Jeb.
Not that it particularly matters, but I think that it could be argued we'd be in a worse position now if McCain had been elected in 2008.
That's hard to believe, but with the advantage of some hindsight, I think its possible. We'll know better after the elections in 2018 and 2020.

If she is tweeting and commenting l take that as a bad sign indeed. I was holding out some hope Ducey was not giving her McTraitors seat. The only hope now is that Juan kicks the bucket before the AZ primary. Ducey knows handing the seat to that Rat Cindy could hurt him bad in the primary so the 3 of em are trying run our the clock.
