A defiant Peter Strzok said the scrutiny he is facing over his anti-Trump text messages amounts to “just another victory notch in Putin's belt,” according to the FBI official's remarks prepared to be delivered before House committees Thursday morning.
Strzok, who arrived on Capitol Hill to testify in a public hearing before the House Judiciary Committee and House Oversight Committee Thursday morning, has been in political crosshairs for months over revelations of anti-Trump text messages exchanged with his lover, and former bureau colleague, Lisa Page.
Strzok will say in his opening statement that he has never allowed personal opinions to affect his work, that he knew information during the campaign that had the potential to damage then-candidate Donald Trump but never contemplated leaking it to the press, and that recent congressional focus on him is misguided and plays into “our enemies’ campaign to tear America apart.”

Page OBVIOUSLY delayed her closed door testimony so she can hear what he says first. They should have canceled his appearance until after hers.
Congress could stop it by having the Capital Police make some arrests and Trump could stop it by making one phone call and firing Sessions.

His professional conduct unacceptable. Judicial Watch needs to request his time sheets to see if there is dishonesty involved. I only say this because I am pretty sure that his job duties do not require or even allow him to send and receive personal texts on company time. It would be hard to claim that you are an honorable person if you’re comitting fraud and/or stealing time from the American people and taxpayers.
The same thing I've been thinking during this whole business. Both of these FBI agents had no problems lying and betraying their spouses........so why should I trust anything they say to us commoners?
Is anybody else ashamed and embarrassed that we have toilet bowl scrapings like Cummings and Norton working in our government?

He is simply trying to change the narrative. Notice most of his comments were designed to pit the Trump Administration against the entire FBI. This is not a matter of the actions by the entire Bureau. This is a matter of an individual and his unacceptable/unprofessional Behavior.
