7) On the whole, I thought the announcement was beautifully managed. The audience gave Judge Kavanaugh and his family a warm reception that must have impressed unbiased viewers. The road to confirmation may be bumpy, given the Democrats lunacy, but it got off to an excellent start tonight.

I thought it was a very nice introduction.
I heard some liberal type on TV, say it felt like a political campaign. He criticized how they “trotted out” the family, the way politicians running for office do.
And, this liberal type said, this is a judicial appointment, not a political rally, and the ceremony should have been “more solemn” since we’re talking about the Supreme Court.
As usual, liberal types will find some aspect of things to criticize.

President Trump’s words of freedom, liberty, and the importance of the Supremes respecting the Constitution was music to my ears.
This guy seems to have the same pedigree and they are saying the same things about him that we heard about about Roberts when he was nominated.
