A PARTIAL VIEW OF HIS RECORD:

On hot-button questions, Mr. Kavanaugh has trended conservative on issues such as abortion, indicating a narrow view of what constitutes an undue burden on a woman’s right to end her pregnancy, and the Obamacare contraception mandate, though his take on the mandate was somewhat more conciliatory than right-wing activists would prefer. A nemesis of the administrative state, he has frequently voted against the Environmental Protection Agency, arguing that programs to regulate greenhouse-gas emissions and cross-border air pollution went further than the law allowed; in each case he took an overly narrow view of the statute. Mr. Kavanaugh seems less willing to grant executive agencies leeway in interpreting Congress’s instructions than the Supreme Court has typically shown. Senators must explore how far this philosophy extends.

ultimately, the best measure of Kavenaugh’s worth is how much the leftist hate him. WaPoo’s whining is a pretty good start ...

" ... More than ever, the court is in danger of becoming viewed as an instrument of politics rather than an independent, nonpartisan branch of government ... "

Then democrats should be pleased to have more justices who interpret the non-political Constitution rather than interpreting Politics and writing laws that support one side's politics. So I am very happy for the democrats, as they are getting what they say they want. But I suspect they are lying about what they want.

Apparently this last term of the Court, the Justice that voted most like Neil Gorsuch was none other than Anthony Kennedy. So how exactly would another Neil Gorsuch “dramatically shift the court to the right”?

This hysteria, as per usual from the Left, has no markings of being genuine.

Music to my ears.

Conservatives should lie back and break out the popcorn.

The fake news media is doing another number on Trump and that’s why I trust his decision.

He knows how to push their buttons.

Washington Examiner: “Alan Dershowitz said Monday President Trump was approaching the process of selecting a replacement for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy with the mindset that he’ll likely have the opportunity to nominate up to five justices to the highest court in the country.
“I think the president is looking at the big picture,” Dershowitz told CNN of a phone conversation he had with Trump a few days ago.”

“More than ever, the court is in danger of becoming viewed as an instrument of politics rather than an independent, nonpartisan branch of government.”

WaPo and the rest of the Left should know after decades of using the SCOTUS and courts in general to do exactly that...

Appointing judges is one of the benefits of winning elections...DJT campaigned on a promise he would select judges who would decide cases based on the law rather than their own personal ideology...Looks like he’s keeping that promise as well...

Now, immediate confirmation hearings...Not tired of winning yet!

Kavanaugh is entirely main stream.

Trouble is, NONE of the American NEWS MEDIA are main stream!

Just like with talking head shows, the Left’s idea of balance is a large majority of dyed in the wool progressives, a moderate and maybe a moderate claiming to be a conservative.

The nattering flapdoodles of the Left know nothing of balance ... or of honoring oaths of office.

That’s because they are the imbalance personified.

They should insist on a justice who would rule with modesty and genuine independence of mind — and a willingness to resist abuses of power by this and future presidents.

Where was the ComPost editorial board during all of the rampant abuses of power by the Obama Admin? >>crickets<<

The SCOTUS is not Congress.

The court is not a mini constitutional convention or a group of nine un-elected super legislatures.

SCOTUS job is to interpret law as written. Period.

This “fight” is nothing more than George Soros puppets with turn this country socialist orders.

The left is waging a political battle for an institution that is at its core non-political to turn it against us.

confirm. confirm. confirm.

Yet Mr. Kavanaugh came from a list of potential nominees preapproved by conservative activist groups. Their goal is to tilt the court as far right as possible as quickly as possible.

This apparently upsets Jeff Bezos, and his fellow marxists.
