PGA 3 day event. Tournament formerly called Greenbrier Classic. President Trump arrived the first day to kick off the event.

President Donald Trump spoke to the Salute to Service event Tuesday at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., held in conjunction with the PGA Tour’s there stop this week.

During his speech, he recognized several current PGA Tour pros in the crowd, including Bubba Watson, Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson. Trump also called out PGA Tour Champions player John Daly.

“I like Phil, and Phil I think likes me,” Trump said.

Amid his remarks on various policy items, and praise for the military, he offered some plaudits for golfers.

“These are PGA players. These are unbelievably talented people. They’re talented in their mind and in their body,” Trump said. “Their muscles are strong but their mind has to be stronger. It’s tough. And these are tough people.”

Housed under the West Virginia Wing of The Greenbrier Resort, the top-secret, super-sized bunker was built for all 535 members of Congress during the Eisenhower era. And, The Greenbrier, which has been welcoming guests from around the world since 1778, including 26 presidents and countless celebrities.

If he has it, he’d probably be in hospice by now! My sister died of pancreatic cancer and lasted just a few months. From what i read, no matter what stage you are in, you only have months because it grows fast and doesn’t respond to treatment.

Somehow Ginsberg got really lucky. And Patrick Swayze sort of lucky.

Nothing to forgive, I shouldn’t have said it - for 3 reasons!

The most important that i keep forgetting is that Trump said he chose a justice that Put personal opinions aside in making his decisions. I forget that that’s not what a good judge does, because our media emphasizes their personal opinions. Because that’s how the lefty judges. operate. So his personal opinions are irrelevant!

But also I was painting all Catholics with a broad brush, forgetting this pope doesn’t represent you any more than Obama representatives me - and for that i am very sorry. The large number of rock solid conservative catholic le on here should’ve been my first clue! duh.

So i apologize and i’m so glad you forgave me before i even deserved it!!

thank you for clearing that up too - I woke up so happy and remembering what i was taught in history decades ago - That a judge only interprets the law. They leave their personal opinions out of it. I remember thinking i could never be one!

Of course only our conservative justices will do that, while the lefties legislate from the bench :(

But i hope Trump gets to appoint 2 more in the next 7 years - to replace Ginsberg who is 85 and Breyer who is 79. Wouldn’t that secure this country for one more generation?!!!

What are you doing today? i’m picking beans but making myself quit after that and walk right by all the weeds..hopefully! arms feel good and i want them to stay that way! Are you walking today?

Yup, I’ll be walking in just a few minutes, we don’t go to far from home as the possibility of rain could happen at any time, we kind of walk in zig-zag down our little country roads.

I am feeling slightly better today. I still have a backache. I probably won’t get any weeding done today as I am tired of the aches and pains.

As to internet access in Papua, well, that is problematic. We’ve have internet. Yet, it is so slow. Indonesia has the 2nd slowest internet on the planet and Papua gets all the dregs of stuff that the main islands don’t need. We’re the ugly step-sister. So, internet ... that is always difficult.

Yes, I will freep from Papua. In fact I was introduced to Free Republic while in Papua. This was back around ‘97, maybe early ‘98. There was an early iteration of FR back then, and then, it rebooted, so to speak, during ‘98. A lot of our sign-on dates were messed up. There was a long-running daily thread called “America - the Right Way!” I posted on that quite a bit.
