Actor Kelsey Grammer explained why he is pro-life in an interview last week with the Times, calling out the abortion industry as dishonest for using the euphemism of reproductive rights to speak about abortion.
Grammer told the Times he has as much respect for women and womens issues as possible, but said that womens rights are not what is at stake with abortion.
It gets a bit dishonest to call something reproductive rights when you clearly have a choice well before a baby is conceived, Grammer noted, which is when reproduction actually happens.
The 63-year-old actor known for his role as Dr. Frasier Crain in the sitcoms Cheers and Frasier said that abortion unfairly punishes an infant for others actions, even in the case of rape.
If someone has to die as a result of rape, then we should kill the rapist not the unborn child, he said. Its a dicey area, but if you have respect for life, and respect for choice, then you cant take life away from an infant.
Little makes me angry, but injustice does, he said. Grammer has occasionally gotten under the skin of Hollywood liberals with his openly pro-life stance as well as his support for the Second Amendment.

Why can’t the Left accept the science?
For 30 years, they kept with the false adage of “it is just a group of cells”.
Now that the science reveals it is not “just a group of cells” the media will not call them out on it.
In critical moments, men sometimes see exactly what they wish to see.
You see a hotdog.
Interesting.
Kelsey Grammar is a fine actor...He was great in Cheers and Fraiser...
p
I agree with him, but am unclear why his opinion matters.
____________
It's also unclear why you chose to comment.
Possibly because I'm puzzled why anyone cares what an actor says on any topic other than acting.
or Planned Murder
In California, we were involved with the Women’s Resource Center working to stop abortions. The annual ball was good, and some of the celebrities who were featured were John Schneider and Kirk Cameron. It was so good to know that there are some good guys in Hollywood.
I never heard of John Schneider, but GOD BLESS HIM!!
Dukes Of Hazzard early on (the blonde). Tons of other stuff later on. Good guy.
Pro-life? My guess is a fair percentage -- if not the majority -- of pro-"lifers" also are pro-capital-punishment. Which begs the question, ...WTF?

What, may I ask, is particularly unforthcoming with the phrase, "pro-capital-punishment"?
