“Christian belief that gender is determined at birth”
How is that a “Christian belief”?

How is that a Christian belief...
It may have to do with God’s creation of two sexes Adam and Eve.

Interesting observation. I am guessing it is a thought evolving from the Left’s viewpoint that everything they believe is bad is attributable to Christianity. They can’t, for example, say that his view is unscientific or runs counter to the prevailing culture. The Left has demonized Christianity as anti-progressive...or, possible cisnormal or some such garbage words. It used to be normal in the South that people offered public prayers. Now, I am actually startled and look around to see who will protest or throw a fit.
Its like the Christian belief that water is wet.
What is a doctor going to do now? Well, actually most people get the ultrasound results before the actual birth but what’s it going to be?
You have an “IT”....or... a “THING”...or “WHATEVER YOU WANT IT TO BE”...Don’t decide now - you can always change your mind later.

Christianity presupposes an objective truth that may be discovered through reason, or revealed.
I always thought it was objective reality, personally, but since we no longer do that, I guess maybe it should be a DNA test...which would show that these people are either male or female, genetically speaking and leaving aside their psychoses.
There are a few cases per every x number of births with people having mixed features, and these used to be determined by eyeballing them but now are determined with chromosomal analysis. Which is predominant? And also, what do the parents think? But now parents are out of the equation.
I guess theres no objective reality anymore. And these poor people are left adrift.

It’s not. The Christian belief is that biological sex is determined by God beforehand. It becomes a reality at conception, not birth.
Multiple times God told people that they would have a male child—a son. For example, there were Isaac, Samson, John (the Baptist), and Jesus.
The recognition that there are exactly two human biological sexes is not religious; it is scientific.
