Alright. You have priorities as a President.
You call it.
I don’t think the President can unilaterally cut off funds for Planned Parenthood.
Trump has tried to allow the House and Senate to step in and lead the way now that they have the majority. They have refused to do it.
They have actually refused to do much of anything.
As for the wall, once again Trump has waited for Congress to get off it’s ass and fund it.
I have no doubt Trump will find a way to get Mexico to directly or indirectly to pay for that wall.
We’re talking about a minuscule cost out of the budget, that will be repaid in time. We can withhold aid to Mexico or place a small tax on money transfers.
Congress refuses to get off it’s rear once again.
While I don’t like it when presidents promise one thing and don’t do it, if you’re living by the Constitution all you can do is explain what your goals are, but Congress has to fund the project.
These are some of the reasons why I hold Ryan and McConnell in contempt.
