Personally, I am always worried about the Conservative stamina of women and minorities - unless they have a long public record.
Passionate, long term Conservatives like Clarence Thomas, Margaret Thatcher, Thomas Sowell, and Michelle Malkin are rare, almost one of a kind.
It disturbs me that Barrett has such a short appellate record.
As to Kavanaugh, I have read that he has been allied with the Bush family for many years. Not a good start.
And, just a couple months ago, Gorsuch threw us a political curve ball when he voted with the four Leftists on “ambiguous” language that had been settled immigration law for more than 50 years.
I am glad that Trump is choosing Judges - and not Hillary - but I still do not have high confidence in Trump's judicial choices.
Trump's new White House consul decided to reinstate the tradition of letting Senators choose federal judges that will sit in the District Courts that include the Senator's state.
Since the first of the year, Trump has nominated at least three federal judges who were selected by Democrat Senators and were confirmed without any Democrat opposition.
These are the same Democrats who have corrupted the DOJ and FBI, and they have vowed to remove Trump from office.
And Trump is letting them choose federal judges?
Mon Dieu!
“Trump has nominated at least three federal judges who were selected by Democrat Senators and were confirmed without any Democrat opposition.”
Who are the three judges?
How do you feel about people who run for President who have no prior public service or record? Very risky, right? Never know where they may land on issues.
Reasoned thoughts...
Thanks for the post.
I’ll keep these things in mind.
If she has been known as a conservative Lecturer in her classes and her presentations, I suspect she’s pretty rock solid.
She doesn’t seem like a wishy washy type person.
We’ll see how it plays out.
