IMO, Trump is waiting till after the mid-terms, he will then do an entire house cleaning, including Sessions.
Trump will not fire Sessions or Rosenstein until he knows he can replace them. McConnell refuses to put the Senate in recess to prevent the President from making recess appointments, and the current GOP caucus cannot be trusted. Too many rats.

Day Four: Trump takes heat from Dimms and Fake News
Day Five Trumps approval numbers increase to over 50% for first time.
I say we indict them, right after their hanging.
I believe Trump is handling this correctly. What have Americans learned over the last year and a half? That the top tier of the FBI and Justice Department was (and is) utterly corrupt. That the great majority of Republican Senators are inept. That American uranium was sold to Russia for a mess of pottage. That the Russians did not hack the DNC. That the FBI as an institution cannot be trusted (nor should it be). That the DOJ leadership in the southern District of New York was corrupt, as is the District of Columbia office. That the Democrat leadership in both the House and Senate are complicit in the corruption of our intelligence agencies. That the Department of State was directly involved in the 2016 political campaign. That the Clinton Foundation was a total pay-for-play operation. That the American media is almost totally corrupt.
The only aspect of this business that has yet to be proven without doubt is that Russian activity had any significant effect on the 2016 election. And all this has occurred because the President has seen fit to allow this charade to continue.

I hope this stuff comes out before the mid terms. I hope it will prove that Trump was framed. The genesis of the investigation against Trump is the key to it all.
But, none of the GOPers who are actively involved are demanding that Trump order Rosenrat to release the documents. This tells me that there is a media strategy here to create maximum damage at the right time against Rosenrat, Mueller, media, and the Dems.
