Mexico is far more culturally conservative than the United States. Faith and family is foremost in Mexico. There is no political correctness. In many ways it is already Trump country. Also Mexico deports more Central Americans than the United States does. It’s a complex country with a complex history. It is NOT an enemy of the United States.
America is Mexico’s welfare system. They also like that drug money pouring into their economy through the money transfers into Mexican banks. There is a real money-laundering enterprise in Mexican banks. The entire country is a corrupt hell hole.

The talk about socialism and the left and so on comes from those who want to scare people into voting Republican for everything this fall.
I support Trump but not the do nothing to secure our border and keep cheap labor out Republicans, no matter what anyone even Trump says about them.

If Trump is smart (i.e. taking my advise), he should say to the new government in Mexico, “Congratulations. Since you want more independence from the US here are a few things we are going to do to help you achieve that.
1. No more money remittances from Mexicans, legal or illegal, back to your country, or I’ll just impose a 100 percent transaction fee on them.
2. All illegal Mexicans caught in the US will immediately be deposited over the border to you.
3. No more of those damned rock hard tomatoes are coming into the U.S. We’ll grow our own such as Early Girl and Big Boy, which have better tastes.
4. A countrywide State Department “don’t travel” warning for Mexico. Adios tourismos.
5. And we will close down all Taco Bells. So take that.
